Everybody goes through life. There is hard times, easy times, and fun times. Sometimes you have to make choices in your life and have consequences. Even the smallest choice can have the biggest impact on your life. But in the end, everyone makes it through. No matter how hard life gets, never give up. People who give up and don’t try to make life the best it can be, live a sad and miserable life and nobody wants that. So always try your hardest in life.
Decisions are one of the most difficult tasks you have to do in life. I have made a few small decisions that have big impacts on my life. One example is when I decided to start playing basketball. I was about 8 years old and i was asked if I wanted to play on a basketball team with some of my school buddies. Of course, I said yes because I enjoyed playing basketball and thought it would be fun to finally be on a team. I started off at the Boys and Girls Club of Hot Springs Arkansas.

I never got to play. I was always sitting, unhappy, and frustrated on the bench. Eventually, I started to get better and actually got to play some. Then it was my first year playing for my school… I was really nervous because there would be a lot more people there to watch us and I was terrified to mess up in front of everybody. My first game, I decided to skip the game and told my coach that I was sick. That was one of the worst decisions. They ended up winning the game and I wasn’t there. Giving up shows a lack of self-respect and self-worth. Each time we push through adversity, we become stronger and more capable of dealing with the next adverse situation. Adversity in life is an inevitability and as such, pushing through those hardships build our soul’s armor and our ability to overcome. Never give up!

Throughout one’s life, a person may consider giving up when “the going got tough”. These things can vary from little everyday tasks, to even one’s life. Although it might seem like the best and easiest option at the time, it’s important to ask yourself, “Is it worth giving up?” A lot of the time, it isn’t. Life can become very hard to live through, but the trait of perseverance is one of the strongest traits to have, and it’s important to keep pushing on no matter what happens. I worked very hard every day at practice to show why they needed me on the field. I was so excited when I got to play in my first high school tournament. I had to be a pinch runner for the pitcher and I scored the first point in the game. At the end of the season that yearev, they finally realized we were losing all of our games because of this one girl, so they took her out and put me in and moved everyone’s positions around.
You can’t expect success if you quit with each curveball that life throws at you, rather, what you need to do is to dig deep into your inner self and find the strength to keep moving forward in order to come out on top. Even though I have had some hardships in my life, I know that I have learned from the mistakes that I made or that other people made. I will never give up. I will never allow failure to be an option. I will set goals and I will achieve them. We are obstacles are set in front of us daily. Daily obstacles can range from waking up in the morning when we are overworked to losing a limb or a love done. However, when the outcome is not in my favor I will utilize the situation to find my weaknesses and build a better me for the next battle.

A bit of advice for you: do not take a moment’s rest.” I like this specific phrase, because it encourages me to pursue my dreams even if I encounter failure. In my opinion, in the past when poor people from a different place immigrate starting a new life. They needed sense of motivation and they encounter different situation where they wanted to give up and some of them persisted.
Our life lessons are taught at a young age, to be exact they start at birth. Mimicking others as they perform certain task in their daily rituals. The play Wit focuses on a college professor that learns she has been diagnosed with advanced metastatic ovarian cancer and is ironically attended by a former student of hers. This student has already completed medical school and has completed his residency, but is furthering his journey with cancer by completing a fellowship with a profound doctor in his field of study. Throughout the duration of the play, we witness many occurrences go wrong during this patients’ treatment many of which are done by this fellow.
In life we all face obstacles. The troubles that we face don’t define us, how we overcome the situation is what makes us the people we are today. Throughout my life I have faced many trials and tribulations that I had to overcome with the help of my mother, ofcourse. I was smooth sailing in life until I started high school.
People don't truly accept life for what it is until they've actually tasted adversity and went through those misfortunes and suffering. We are put through many hardships in life, and we learn to understand and deal with those issues along the way. We find that life isn't just about finding one's self, but about creating and learning from our experiences and background. Adversity shapes what we are and who we become as individuals. Yann Martel's Life of Pi shows us that adverse situations help shape a person's identity and play a significant role in one's lief by determining one's capabilities and potential, shaping one's beliefs and values, and defining the importance and meaning of one's self.
