My Personal Beliefs

My beliefs are developed through school, learning, friends, and family. My current view on life is that I should live it the way that makes me happy without hurting others. My future is devoted to the choices I make now in the present. My experiences have changed me to the person I am now over the years. When I was in first grade, people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I told them I wanted to be a teacher because my first grade teacher, Mrs. Flick, was my role model. When I was in fifth grade, I was asked the same question, but my answer was different. This time I wanted to be a computer engineer and work with robots because of the games I used to play on the computer. Now if somebody asks me, my answer has changed again. I tell them I want to go into the medical field because of my awareness of world events and disease outbreaks. Also, my enrollment in my Biology class last year sparked my interest in science and helping others. The more I reflect on my choices, the more I examine my strengths and weaknesses. My strengths are that I am a hardworking, socially responsible person with a good sense of humor. I am independent and confident with an optimistic view of life. Every year, I volunteer for blood drives sponsored by American Red cross to help save lives . I am developing my leadership skills by taking roles that mold me into becoming a leader. Right now, I am a National Honor Society chair, this role allows me to make quality decisions to facilitate the activities of my committee. My weakness is that I get emotional in situations and loose control. When I was young, I had a fight with my friend Josh. It started as an argument and I lost control, I pushed him on to the floor. Currently, I am trying to lessen my emotions and behave in a consistent manner with a better
