The goals I want to achieve this year is to stay in school and to do my work so I can get enough credits to graduate on time. Another goal I have is to save up money and stay working instead of calling in all the time. I'm gonna try my best to follow all my rules I have for probation and to stay out of jail. I feel I can do all these things if I put my mind to it, I been going to school and work everyday I've had to so far. Something I taught myself is how to Bmx bike and do tricks on them. I don’t bike anymore because my bike got stolen about a year ago. I was pretty decent at it but I started losing interest once I got older. I paid about $500 for my bike I bought all the parts online and put it together myself. My friend Nick has a barn at his house and …show more content…
I want a 4-5 bedroom house with a 3 car garage and a pool in the backyard. I want my house to be in Pittsburgh or Ohio because those states are way better than Wisconsin. I wanna be an electrician or a welder because those are successful jobs. My car is gonna be a BMW a Subaru WRX and a decent Suv I don't know what kind I want yet. My first best friend was Cade. We are still very good friends to this day. I met him when I was about 5 years old at my old house, we met each other by riding our bikes and we would race to see who bike was faster. I remember when we were about 10 I had a four wheeler that had a safety on it to manage the speed and we took the safety off to go really fast. Cade crashed the four wheeler in his backyard and it broke. My sisters dad was the one who taught me how to do construction at a young age. His name is Ken and him and my mom don't get along anymore. She gets mad when I go help him do work because he's nice to me and not her. I remember at our old house we redid the entire basement. We put carpet in, new drywall, made a few bedrooms and put in a
My short term goals academically is to pass all my classes this first semester, and my short term goal professionally is to just continue with my current job of working at target. I work at target 5 days a week and about 35 hours a week. My long term goals academically are to major in criminal justice, and my long term goal professionally is to become a DEA agent.
My short-term goals will be completed throughout High School. I am taking a lot of Mathematical classes in High School, this year I am taking Statistics and Business Math. Next year I will either take Calculus or Precalculus. I like taking math courses because there is a lot of math in anyone's life time. Also my career choices require a lot of math, most classes they like to see I have already taken. I plan to get high grades in all of my classes so Colleges will take me seriously. One of my favorite classes is Statistics and I have a decent grade in it too. My activities at school include being in the Woodshop Club. It is very enjoyable for me and I hope to do more in woodworking as I grow older as a hobby. Activities outside of school include mainly Boy Scouts and work. I plan to get my Eagle Scout rank and I might go on to get Eagle Palms. I work as a Concrete laborer and I also do some finishing, it is a very
Goals give you something to measure yourself against and give you direction. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Beyond getting my bachelor’s degree at East Carolina University, I would like to go to medical school and become a doctor focusing on prosthetics. In order to make my goals a reality, I will have to work diligently to remain on track throughout my schooling. Additional goals that I have set for myself are to complete homework assignments by the time they are due, reading assigned material before it is discussed in class, doing well in each of my courses this semester, successfully participating in extracurricular activities, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, getting a position as an engineer, and becoming a leader within both the engineering community and the general community. A world-class engineering student woul...
As a highschool student we come up with many goals that we want to achieve each year. My three main goals for my junior year are to get good grades and maintain a good G.P.A. to stay active and play sports, and to start looking for colleges to apply for. Usually, it is hard to achieve all your own personal goals, especially if it involves working extra hard or doing other tedious activities.
For me, that was a boy by the name of Amoni Bell. Amoni moved to Georgia during middle school. Being that school had already begun, making friends was not easy for him. However, we quickly became friends, due to the long bus ride home. Our friendship would last until our senior year in high school.
The next set of goal setting importance is my personal goals with the first being to over come the obstacles associated with returning to school.
Graduating high school used to be my long term goal, but now that I am getting closer to this goal I have made it my short term goal and I decided to think bigger for my long term goal. The short term goal that I have made for myself is to graduate high school this year, be ranked in the top ten percent of my class, and get the most scholarships as possible to continue my education after high school. I knew that in order for me to make my short term goals a possibility than I should focus on obtaining the best possible grades since the first day of high school. It has been tough getting to this point because I have seen a lot of my classmates drop out of school because they would always say that it's hard enough to go to a public school, but they can't imagine how hard it will
My vocation, scholastic, and life goals all rely on each other to make the other come to existence. My foundational goal is to help be the anchor of ravaging families supplanting a perplexed family matter with numerous alternatives. Afore I can accomplish my foundational goal, I must pursue my career goal in political science as a family lawyer by enriching my scholastic goals in order for them to equip me to achieve and handle the rigorous vocation as a family lawyer. I culled to pursue a degree in political science as a family lawyer because it is the category that deals with the most paramount and central aspect of society. It deals with family related issues and domestic relations.
A personal goal that I want to continue from 2016 is learning to rollerskate well. The reason for this is because I hope to be a roller derby player, which involves being very well at moving quickly in skates. To accomplish this, I need to practice often, be accepting towards the fact I will fall, and that I’ll fail. For me to be able to practice often, I’ll need to use my time wisely and finish all homework assignments under a time schedule. A way for me to not get discouraged is to think that failure isn’t failure until you give up.
Some of your successes may be personal triumph and some may be physical triumph, but for me, my success lies in academics. This may make me a nerd, but it stands for something that I enjoy and something that people claim I am good at. When I was first born, my parents knew that there was something wrong with me, as my head had been deformed and shortly later, doctors realized that my skull was not growing. Lucky for me, one of the best cranio-surgeons in the country was located in the area where I was born.
Most people set goals in their first year of high school, by the time that they graduate they should have a clear understanding of what they want to accomplish in life. Developing a goal is to visualize and plan ahead of what you're setting yourself for the future. However, there will be times that they tend to not be able to commit to those plans or they may have encounter some difficulties visualizing their schedules. As a result, it became unorganized and it leads to procrastination. My goals for these two months are to subdue stress, care for my physical well being, and to get involved in the work field.
First goal would be to get money for a decent car by the end of this year. This would be my goal for one reason and that is so when it comes time when i get my license i will have a car that I can drive instead of driving my mom's mini van. I chose getting money for a car because if I don't then I will have to rely on my mom and letting me have the mini van to drive around. Having my own car would make me have to be more responsible because not only to be safe on the road but to be safe with those with me, and if I were to have my own car then I would be able to go to places whenever because I would have my own right to drive. I would also have to get a job on top to pay for license and gas and anything else that will be needed so then that's
Education is important in my life, because through my education I want to become a successful person . I’m not sure yet what I want to become to be successful, but being motivated, determined, and dedicated is what I’m doing to strive and see the person I can be. To become what I want to become I am first going to have to graduate from high school. And to succeed for me to graduate on time I’m going to be very motivated very dedicated and also very determined to accomplish my goal. Getting through high school for me is a struggle.
Before I said that one of my main goals before I graduate from Upper Iowa University is to achieve A’s and B’s and make the dean’s list at least one year of my four during my college career. That goal as a whole sounds pretty intimidating but if I follow the appropriate steps I know it will make achieving my goals that much easier. Since I’ve struggled with my grades in junior high and the beginning of high school my grades mean a lot to me. My grades aren’t just showing me whether I’m understanding the information being given to me or not, but also allowing to see how much closer I am to the career that I’ve been striving for.
I have several goals that I plan to achieve. First of all, I want to get a bachelor’s degree in business. To complete this goal, I will attend a two-year college and then transfer to a four-year college to finish my education or I will attend a four-year college such as Wayne State University or the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Secondly, I want to be successful in life. Achieving success comes through hard work and dedication to the endeavors I’m trying to reach.
