This film is about the life and history of the famous musician J. R Cash (Johnny Cash) This film shows us what life was like for him while growing up. the film gradually works up through the years of cash's life, we learn all sorts of things about Cash's life. Started from an underpaid salesman to a highly paid song-writer/performer with a bit of perseverance. When I watched this film I felt interested. I felt this because while the film was playing it was very intriguing and it left you always wanting to know what was going to happen next. For example Cash grew up being nothing very special but it been interesting to watch as he follows his life dream and becomes a famous musician like he always dreamed. I feel that this film may make other people consider following their dreams like Cash did and this may lead to a brighter future for more people. …show more content…

The director seemed to be suggesting that if Johnny Cash didn't become a musician then no one would know about him he would just be a normal person. We see that this would be true because in the film Johnny lives with his wife and his few kids in a small town before he becomes a famous musician. And he is just a normal salesperson and he is making no money. So if Johnny didn't become famous no one ever would have known about him and his talent. “My Daddy’s right. It should have been me on that saw. Jack was so good. He would have done so many good things. What have I done? Just hurt everybody I know. I know I’ve hurt you. I’m nothing.” This quote describes that Johnny could have ended up on the saw mill instead of his brother Jack who had died, from his perseverance he ended up being a successful song writer and a performer although he had many battles along the way such as drugs, Haters, and
