Throughout America’s history there have been countless influential leaders that have proudly been American. Those have held positions of politicians, soldiers, and . Kanye Omari West has opened the eyes of today's generation and still continues to shape American history. His musical influence has transformed the lives of countless people. Inspiring many to stand up and fight for what they believe in is something Kanye West continues to do even today.. Also, opening the eyes of many to racial injustice towards African American citizens. I’ll further elaborate my claim in the following paragraphs using historical evidence.

As seen in his Kanye West’s book “Glow in the Dark” there are a plethora of photos of him displaying his odd sense of style. To the normal eye this can he can be easily sectioned off by society and labeled as black sheep of the music industry. The impact of his clothing has also reached out to the youth as another means of relatability. As discussed before his narcissistic behavior already makes Kanye West a character to be marginalized as misfit to the world. His clothing style contributes to this in a major way that some dont expect. Kanye had interest in many cultures and sought out to understand them. One culture that notably influenced him as a person is Asian culture. Considering that he lived in China for a year when he was ten years old there was no way he wouldn't be touched by this. This can be seen with his clothing style, adopting Japanese streetwear and incorporating it into his style. From this his clothing Brand “Yeezy Supply” was created. Him venturing off into the world of fashion has made the same impact his music has created. Once again the people who feel to be a misfit or black sheep can vent out and be like their role model Kanye West by dressing in his clothing. His upbringing is one of an average american citizen. Being raised by his mother Donda West was a English professor lead to him living an average life. His parents divorced when he was very young. Showing interests in the ars at a very young age is something that kept promise.
