The Middle Eastern cooking varies from one country to another. It is a very sensual kind of healthy cooking, using herbs, spices and aromatics generously. Recipes consist of spice blends, in-season vegetables and fruits, grains, olives and olive oil, nuts, herbs, and pickled and preserved foods. From Beirut, the "Paris of the Middle East," to Cairo, the “Gift of the Nile,” you will get a taste of the incredible culinary heritage with a magnificent menu.
I will be able to teach you how make authentic Middle Eastern recipes and help you to make them on your own at home. At every class you will get a copy of all of the recipes that are made in class along with instructions on how to combine spices to bring out the true flavor. I will also share

Families have food and drink recipes created and passed down from generation to generation. Some families are known for their specialty dishes. Countries are no different as they have special items that they grow and export. There are menu items that represent the self-image and identity of the country. Cultural traditions will determine the what, and why of a particular cuisine. These foods are served in restaurants as well as homes with pride. There will usually be a well told story behind the selection. Agricultural conditions will sometimes play a significant role in the finished product. Some of the cuisine selected as specialties may be the same for another culture. The only difference could be the selection of seasonings which are readily available to them or the side dishes served. With the prices increasing people are losing more money to the government because they are having to pay for the benefits to the illegal immigrants. The immigrants coming across illegally are getting jobs “under the table” due to not having the proper documentation which is taking jobs away from others who happen to be legal. These jobs are untaxed, and therefor do not contribute to the government social programs which illegal immigrants may still gain access to.
There are many countries in Middle east, and because of that cuisine in middle east is diverse and changes. There are specific food in one region with others region. In every unique cuisine in Middle East has unique flavor and characteristic also. Even the food has much similarity but in Middle East all of them still exist as unique food of Middle East. Raw material which usually used for cooking is Olives and chickpeas but the most popular food in Middle East is flat breads.
The Iraqi Dolma The Middle Eastern cuisine is one that can be easily be identified among so many. Each country in the Middle East has a particular way of cooking the same dishes, however share staple ingredients such as vegetables, olive oil, rice, lamb and spices such as turmeric and garlic. To be more explicit, a hummus dish will have the same or staple ingredients in both Iraqi and Israel, but will not have the same exact taste due to the method used to make it or the usage of specific ingredients proper to each country. Among all the food types shared among all Middle Eastern countries, Dolma is one of the main ones that shows a particular difference in Iraqi and is a favorite in my household.
Plates get bigger and cups have less and less ice. Campaigns in local communities have started trying to battle obesity. Jamie Oliver, father and chef, has organized and put together his vital movement against obesity. Both Algerian and Tunisian dishes are rich in spice and can be considered the hottest cuisine of the region.
