If I had been asked what I was thankful for last year, I probably wouldn’t have been able to come up with anything, however this year many things that changed for me. At the beginning of this year the medication that I had been prescribed had started working, and that was a big change for me. I started becoming less anxious and depressed and more social. As a result, in the improvement of my mood I was able to sign up for and attend the Supported Education program. I am very thankful to have been prescribed this medication, because it has helped to achieve so many things that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to accomplish. I am also very thankful for my family who has always been there for me and supported me during all
Americans. To those families and especially my parents I thank you for understanding and standing with us. This day belongs to you as well.
...ence, and the editorial work my Dad helped me do on this (and almost everything I write today), because boy do I need it! I’d also like to thank My Uncle for the hard work he’s put into leading the whole thing, and being a generally awesome uncle.
Thankfully I survived all the challenges I need to pass. I'm no one right now without my family, friends, teachers and specially God. So I want to say thank you for making me who I am. Thank you for making my days here on earth even more special. I maybe not perfect but thank you for making my life worth it.
We all have stuff to be grateful for each day. But, when we get caught up in a negative day - or year, things can seem pretty bleak. When you do, things start to feel better and life starts to feel easier and more rewarding. Following are 14 things to be grateful for today that most people will resonate with.
In conclusion, the three things I am thankful for is my safety, music, and love. I am thankful for everything but these three topics stood out to me for one specific reason, they have influenced me and the world as well. They are all significant to me and have deep meaning, which is why I am thankful for
So, always be thankful that you are surrounded by people you can call family and a place you can call home, because not every child is as fortunate as you, to have a loving and care family or a cozy
As Thanksgiving approaches, pumpkin spice scents fill the air and fall leaves dust the ground. The cooler weather is refreshing after a long hot, humid summer. It is time to feast with family with a thankful heart and sweet potato pie.
One thing that I am thankful for is my family. Also my pet dogs Katrina and Oreo. Katrina is a German Shepherd and Oreo is a Poodle mixed with a terrier. Last but certainly not least my sisters Jocelyn and Dairely. Who I love and care for.
“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it.” This quote by William Arthur Ward, one of America’s most quoted writers, shows just how important it is to be thankful for everything you have, no matter how small it may seem. There are many things in life to be thankful for, but I feel that three of these things, which are grandparents, food, and the country America (if you reside in it), are some of the most important to give thanks to.
Everybody has things and people he or she is thankful for in their life. Some may have a special thing that they are appreciative of, such as an activity or object that completes them. Others may have that one friend or family member who they can count on for anything, anytime they need it. I am no exception, and I am thankful for many things and people everyday. However, one thing I am most grateful for is my siblings, my sister and my two brothers.
I’m grateful for life because everyday I have another chance. I have a fresh start, a new day, a new beginning. No matter the mistakes I make or the things I fail to accomplish, a new day is a new opportunity. Life is a chance to achieve and dream. Life is the begining to all your achievements, your relationships, and all your memories. With a new day I get
Im thankful that I was able to be surrounded by the support group and family I have today. Many relationships I have are so much more valuable to me as are a lot of the lessons i’ve learned by going through that. That obstacle was important to me because without it I wouldn't be the person I am today. I would be the scared little girl in the back of the class with all the family issues who never sticks up for herself or others and doesn't have any friends. It was so important for me to persevere through that because had I not I wouldn't be here today as dark as it is I probably would have taken my own life. Today I know i'm important to others, i'm loved , and I would be greatly missed. We all have to persevere everyday whether it is getting up in the morning and going to school, depression, anxiety, or just finishing the plate of blazing wings to win a shirt at Buffalo Wild Wings. It's an important part of everyone's life and we can't live without
Why am I thankful? I am thankful to my parents for letting me be in this beautiful world. Their endless love, tireless efforts and enormous support have made me independent, identical and one of the bold women in this world. My parents are the ones who owe my great respect, unconditional love and thanks on the first hand. I am here today because of them.
In my life, I have many things to be thankful for. For example, I have my dad, who has spent nearly my entire life raising me and my sister by himself after my mother’s passing away. It’s such a routine thing at this point to expect certain things from him, but it’s important that I stop to think about how important it is for him to do what he has done and is doing for me. It truly is impressive how he’s done so much for me and my sister all these years, and I am very grateful for what he’s done.
Philanthropy is powerful because everyone can be affected by the love for mankind, this can change the world for better. Philanthropy is not the practice of self importance and putting yourself above others. Philanthropy and its power of changing the world is about donating to charity your time, belongings, or even sharing kind words or advice in an effort to better others. It is about giving to others less fortunate, and caring about other humans. Whether you know them or not, helping others and caring for the welfare of those less fortunate can change the world. One person can change the life of someone else's by one simple act of charity or kindness. Bill Gates is a wonderful example, due to his material advantages, he can give his belongings to others to help them, rather than keeping all his success to himself. Over his lifetime Mr. Gates donated $27
