I am Gabrielle Gonzalez, and I wish to be a member of NJHS. Thus far, I have worked incredibly hard for my grades and being a member of NJHS is another step towards a successful future. I need to prove to myself that I can make my dreams come true and being a member of the society is an important step to doing that. Now, what makes me a great addition to NJHS? I take school extremely seriously, and I’ve always taken an active role in my education. I continuously maintain my grades, never getting lower than a B. I strive to go beyond what is normal, even if I consider myself shy, I learned to power through. For example, in elementary when I ran for student council and had to read a speech in front of the school, even though I was anxious I managed
I represent the characteristics of NJHS because I show good leadership, character, citizenship, confidence, and focus. I respect everyone for who they are, and I treat everyone the same way. I have a commitment to learning. I will do everything I can to make good grades, and achieve my goal. I like to have a vision, inspire others to support my vision along the way while creating their own, and share my vision with those around me. I like to volunteer my time and ability to help others for a better tomorrow. I follow the school rules, and I do everything instructed by the teacher. I would be willing to help any teacher if they need help. I have never made below an eighty on my report card. I will use my qualities to contribute to NJHS by symbolizing
When my teacher handed out some papers I was surprised that I got one, considering I’m really goofy. The more I look into it, the more I realize how much of a honor it is to even be considered to be selected in the NJHS.
In the letter I received it stated that membership is based upon “scholarship, service, leadership, and character.” I believe I exhibit these important traits in my daily actions with my school involvement, and would enjoy enriching my community involvement. I consider myself
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
I would be an excellent choice to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society because I show service, leadership, character, and citizenship. It is an amazing opportunity anyone is lucky to have, and I am more than happy to accept it. I love helping people, being able to feel accomplished knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. Being in the National Junior Honor Society, I’d love to share my ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.
NJHS members are seen as role models. Nonetheless, I would be a perfect example for students to admire. I find it amazing that just by doing simple things and doing your work, you can be a part of a respectable group. There are many reasons why I should be accepted for this honorable group I turn in my work all the time, I get high achieving grades, etc. Also, I do volunteer work. Recently, I volunteered to help out for Metro Health Community Clinic and Interpreter
I wish to be a member of the National Honor Society for the benefits for myself, the community, and my school. I have thoroughly demonstrated the defining attributes of an ideal member and will continue to show these qualities if selected to be a
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
To start, I believe that I should be accepted because I love helping out in my school, but I would love to help out even more. I’d be very happy if I got in because to me that would give me
I would like to thank Salish Kootenai College for giving me the wonderful opportunity of applying for STEM academy. If somebody had told me that I would be applying for college classes as a sophomore, I would not have believed them. My parents have always told me that when an opportunity comes, you should take it, and I do not plan on letting this experience go to waste. Education has been a big part of my life, and this academy can only help me move forward. That being said, here are a few reasons why I should be considered a candidate for the STEM academy. Joining the STEM academy will allow me to further my knowledge and help me to get closer to my goals, my academic career would flourish, and I would be closer to my ambition for my future. I am determined to become the best and most educated version of myself that I can possibly be.
It is with great honor to be considered among the students of my class to be a part of the National Honor Society. the National Honor Society (NHS) has been an organization that has displayed great interest to me, with new leadership skills and responsibilities to take upon. I believe that I hold the leadership skills, service, character, and academic excellence that is required to become a member of the National Honor Society.
My academic performance excels my grade level. I enjoyed past experiences with speaking in front of others by participating in student council at Brookside Elementary in the 4th and 5th grades. I have had experience updating other students about things that are happening around campus. I will always be on time for our meetings and go to every one. I will always remember to bring my best ideas so that ASB can be a thing others will enjoy. I am a responsible, organized person that likes to contribute my ideas. Some things that I can bring to ASB are a positive outlook on ideas, creative and fun ideas, motivation, quality, leadership and hard work. To be in ASB, I know that you need to respect others and have good communication with my peers. I believe I excel in these two categories, and I will put forth my best effort to make MCMS a better school. I can contribute positive character traits as well as being an example to others. I would be very excited if I could be part of ASB next
In conclusion, I believe that I can offer a wealth of expertise and experience in contributing towards the continued development of a cohesive, dynamic and collaborative school that focuses on offering outstanding world class learning opportunities for all. I consider myself to be a good role model to students and staff alike and I am committed to leading by example. This, combined with my drive, infectious optimism and commitment to playing a full role within the school beyond those duties set out, make me a strong candidate for the post.
As a dedicated student at Seneca Valley, I believe that my biggest asset is my high work ethic. I attribute all of my grades to hard work and not just natural ability. In elementary school I was always falling behind my peers academically and I could not catch back up. I later found out that this was because I had dyslexia but I refused to let it hold me back. Through consistent and constant hard work, I was able to overcome my obstacles and achieve the grades I have now. Dyslexia still effects me on a daily bases but with a little work and effort I am always able to push thru. I want to be a member of the NHS to prove to everyone that no matter what stands in your way with a little hard work and effort, you have the ability to over
Why do I want to join this program, well I’ll tell you. I came from a background where I have been surrounded and educated by many different people. From the start of elementary school I went to a Catholic School near the projects, where I not only learned about God but also of what it means to celebrate diversity. With this instilled mentality, I came to an epiphany when I saw so many different faces in such a big school once I reached high school; Kids from a variety of areas, Providence, South Side, East Side, and Mount Pleasant, kids from unlike races, black, hispanic, white, and asian, all together make up to be one of the top schools in Rhode Island. That epiphany led me to believe that with differences comes a clearer understanding of
