My interest in Industrial Organizational Psychology started with my passion towards psychology itself. The thing that attracts me the most about psychology is the many different aspects of human behavior there are and how we as humans think. While in high school, my attraction to psychology grew even further when I began using my knowledge about psychology towards helping my friends. For example, many friends would approach me with issues that they had in which I felt, that I was able to support them because of the things I knew about psychology at the time, which was to listen to people and try to advise them into doing the correct decisions on their own. Based on this, I decided to find out further information on psychology and decided to pursue my undergraduate degree in psychology. Once in college, I was able to gain more knowledge on the studies of psychology. I started gaining more exposure to how humans behaved and thought. This is where I came across an expanding, but yet great and challenging field called Industrial Organizational Psychology. Once I found out about I/O Psychology I started researching the field as well as its studies. I also started having discussions with my psychology professors about I/O psychology of what were their thoughts about this field and how I was able to receive more information about it. In addition, based on my research and my professor’s feedbacks, I became more intrigued about the field because it contained everything that I liked doing on a daily basis in which to me, this would be a great opportunity since I/O Psychology would feel more as a hobby than just how a regular job would
