Health is an important part of your life. You may think that health is something that doesn’t really matter if you’re healthy. Well in this case you would be incorrect. If your don’t take steps to keep healthy it will catch up with you someday. More people who stay healthy and they continue to use their muscles then they won’t become as frail later. Those who stay in shape naturally live longer and they fight sickness better. This healthy state must be maintained in three different categories. This is called The Health Triangle. The first part of The Health Triangle is the most obvious. This is the physical part of the triangle. To maintain this part of your health you have to stay active. Find a sport that you like and make sure that you do anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour worth of exercise. This will keep your body in better shape, and help you be able to handle stressful situations such as excessive heat or excessively freezing temperatures. This will also help you live longer. What is the point in keeping yourself in a good physical condition if your Emotional state is not in good health? If you think negatively then it is hard to concentrate on what you need to get done, and your grades. This can also affect how rested you feel after a full night’s rest. It’s good to be in a good Mental/Emotional health. Finally the last part of The Health Triangle is the Social part. If you find yourself shy and unable to confide in those around you like your friends or family then you have room for improvement on your health. Do you also have difficulty taking responsibility for your actions? Or maybe even have trouble finding time for your friends and family? These are all signs of a poor social health.
