Six faculty serve on the HCAP Self-Study Committee. Of the six faculty, three have served as AUPHA site team members for other programs throughout the country. We looked very carefully at your comments. Although your feedback is well intentioned, it does not adhere to their criteria for the following reasons because AUPHA requires us to address each question by providing specific information in our responses to the questions: 1. First and foremost, there are page limits. We cannot exceed 65 pages. 2. As far as the spacing is concerned, we must upload the document into a format that has been predetermined by AUPHA which includes spacing and margins. The statistics that are used in the Self-Study were provided by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. 4. As we completed the HCAP Self-Study, we assigned specific faculty to review the information on the TSU website. Please note, the reviewers will look at what we included in the Self-Study and compare it with what is on the University’s website. So, if you find that the information in the Self-Study is incorrect, keep in mind, we got it from the website. Therefore, for the purpose of consistency, I would suggest that we leave it “as is”. 5. You referred to the University’s Master Plan. Well, the question is not related to the University’s Strategic or Master Plan. We were specifically asked about the HCAP Program’s goals, objectives and strategic plan. We only provide the information that they request. Since they did not request the University’s Master Plan, we will not include it. 6. When you referred to the Department Head’s duties, they only asked for a “summary” of the department head’s responsibilities and not a “list”. If they require additional information, we will provide it during our meeting with the site team. In addition, providing a list could cause us to exceed our 65 page
