This was a very neat quiz. I have five greatest strengths that describe me day to day. The one that stuck out to me is Positivity - which means that I am an upbeat person and I can get people excited about anything that comes our way. The strength finder said that I typically go out of your way to tell your coworkers how much you value their contributions, talents, ideas, and successes (www.strengthsquest.com). I am Pre-K teacher assistant Monday-Friday. Working for the school district can be very hard most of the time. You have to go in prayed up and have your war clothes on or you will go crazy. The company will run a whole lot better. Everybody in the company will be working in their area where they are great in. For example, it 's just like the school where I work. My principal has been the for three years and she has changed things around for the best of our school and children. Before she came to our school I work with students in grades kindergarten-first grade on letters, letter-sound and blending words together. She met with each employee to find out their strengths. She told me that I would be perfect working with the Pre-K students and you what she was right. Some the teachers at my school didn 't like the changes she was making. Let 's be truthful nobody likes change. Ms. Hill who was excellent kindergarten teacher was moved back to third grade because she had high test score when she taught that grade. Was she happy? No, not at all until she remember that it is not about her it was about the students and they were improving. There was also another teacher who was the computer lab teacher. She was great in math and could teach it with her hands tied behind her back. She was not happy either until she saw I test scores for our school were

Strengths Finder 2.0 uses an online assessment to evaluate the individuals unique talents by having the taker rate how they view a particular question in 20 seconds or less (Rath, 2007). After taking the assessment, my five strengths were determined to be achiever, maximizer, input, arranger, and relator (Gallup StrengthsFinder, 2012).
I was excited to take the Gallup Strengths Finder assessment. Although I am more reserved and shy, I typically find myself placed in leadership positions. I am always surprised when people refer to me as a leader but family members and close friends have made me more aware of this personality characteristic. I really enjoyed taking the Gallup Strength Finder assessment and I can see why this would be an assessment growing in popularity across the globe. When I finished the assessment, my results showed that my strengths, from first to last, are developer, empathy, input, connectedness, and restorative.
Technology will continue to improve therefore each organization has the opportunity to advance and take advantage of the new techniques and methods that are being used by successful organization that has proven themselves by continuing to provide excellent services for the community and each employee. To first understand and study deviant behavior one must have a clear definition of what “deviant” means. Merriam-Webster defines deviant as “departing from some accepted standard of what is normal”. In the sociological study of deviant behavior, there are two distinct schools of thought on why deviant behavior occurs. The first school of thought on deviant behavior is Constructionist, also related to social Determinism. Constructionist is a theory of finding deviant behavior that says deviant behavior is not inherently the same and is defined by the social context. This theory places the cause of deviant behavior on society and the definition of “normal” as to why select behaviors are deemed deviant. The other school of thought is the Positivist
Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. As Roth states in Strengths Finder 2.0, we as a present day world tend to focus on and try to overcome our weaknesses rather that building up our strengths. Using our natural talents can help us do the best we can and help us be a better asset. After taking the strengths assessment, I found that my top five strengths themes ended up being: relator, discipline, competition, responsibility, and significance.
What are your children 's strengths? The biggest strength that all my children hold is their ability to be self-reliant. My children do basically everything on their own and therefore they barley want me to do anything for them, in a way that is kind of sad, But I have to realize I do not have babies anymore.
My five strengths according to the strength finder include; balance, this helps me be aware of treating all people equally regardless of the situation. I am neither in anyone 's favor or against anyone as this to me is selfishness and individualism. This would result in a situation where some people scale heights due to connections while others are lagging behind. I believe that a consistent environment where the rules apply to everyone is the best for individuals to function best (Rath, 2007). Flexibility is my next strength. By knowing that things do not always work out as planned has helped me change the tactics of how I perform my tasks. I do not always expect to have a smooth flow of opportunities or accomplish goals, but
Before I took the test I had wrote down what I thought were my strengths and weaknesses. My strengths were Hard working, Organized, strong believer and my weaknesses were impatient, not good at remembering important dates, and procrastination.
My top strength is Individualization. To me, this strength means the ability to figure people out and understand the true uniqueness of others. With this strength, I am able to make things run smoothly and, at the same time, able to involve everyone in a group. The next strength I have is strategic, which enables me to find alternative ways to deal with problems. Therefore, I am also able to make things run smoothly and according to plan. In addition to these two strengths, my third strength is competitive which measures how successful I am compared against others. This is great because it helps me to endure and work hard in order to make it to the top. My fourth strength is restorative which is a talent that helps me to deal with any problems that may arise and ensure that things continue going according to plan. This strength means that I can endure and overcome any adversity that comes my way. My last strength is achiever. This is a strength that helps me to work hard and always be productive. Being an achiever maintains my ability to always keep going and to constantly feel the need to be productive.
It is becoming difficult for the company to hire more and more people and retain the best and the brightest of them.
Through the self-assessment instruments utilized in this program, I have gained wealth of knowledge about my strengths, and weaknesses and how they affect my personal and professional life. By using different exercises, I recognized new strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, I identified ways to develop my strengths and overcome my weaknesses. The Kolb Learning Style Inventory (LSI) identified some of my strengths as the ability to get things done, initiating, and taking risks (Kolb, 2007). In the Strongest Self Feedback Exercise, some of the feedback listed my strengths as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being self-confident, a fast learner, determined, hardworking, and an awesome listener (Drucker, 2005).
My flexibility is certainly one of my greatest strengths. I can easily move between different working styles, depending on the scenario. I have no problem trying a new idea or concept out before deciding on a final direction. I am continually exploring different options. Being a “people-person” is one of my other strengths. My excellent interpersonal skills allow for me to bring ideas, thoughts and people together. I generate enthusiasm and excitement into tasks. I feel comfortable and confident talking to others about anything that I have knowledge of.
