Female Dress Code Every school has some form of a dress code that they inforce. Lots of schools are pretty calm and lax about dress codes, but some enforce strict and strange regulations in an effort to keep girls covered up. Are visible collarbones, shoulders, belly buttons and thighs a reason to halt a girls school day and have her change or leave. Is covering all of her body more important than her education? Girls are not just sex objects that go to school with the soul purpose to distract guys, girls are there to get and education and most want to do so as comfortably as possible. Does sending a girl home for a low neckline say that a boys education is more important a girls? How does that make the girls feel? The purpose of the essay is to reflect on what dress codes are and how they make girls feel, propose a solution to end the enforcement of overly strict dress codes, and dubunk opposing views as sexist ways to pin girls and their bodies as objects.
Dress codes are rules and regulations that determine what is deemed appropriate and distracting. Dress codes are commonly more strict on girls and focus in covering their bodies so guys don't get distracted. Some dress codes are stricter than others.

Wow, girls wear bras and it's a big secret apparently. All the crazy, yet pretty, shirt and dress designs these days are sometimes not designed imagining the owners will be wearing a bra. Yes, women could just find bras that work better and stay hidden under different clothing styles considering there is a kind of bra for everything, but believe it or not bras can get pricey. Some girls can't afford buying a new type of bra for every shirt, so sometimes their straps hang out.
