Partnership involves parents and families working together to benefit children. Each recognise, respects and values what the other does and says. Partnership involves responsibility on both sides. A partnership is very important, especially when children going through different faces. For example, settling in to a new setting, getting to know a new school, getting used to a new baby at home or other critical times might be when children are upset, worried or feel left out. School and community partnerships are vital because taxpayers have a vested interest in what their dollars are being used for, effective communication contributes to public confidence in schools, and students benefit when all stakeholders play a role in education. The teacher I interviewed is a Kindergarten teacher in a school that is very diverse and works with many students and families that live in poverty. The parent I interviewed is the mother of five children, but I asked her to focus on her youngest son who is in fourth grade when answering the questions. Children are our future, and to teach them well I will focus on the educational needs of each individual child. I want to inspire each child to reach for their highest potential, to develop the necessary social skills and positive character traits to become responsible members of their class, school and community, and to encourage parents to become partners in their child’s education.I see education as a lifelong journey of acquiring new ideas and concepts. A journey that blends art and science to create a warm, welcoming classroom environment where learning is expected, encouraged and supported. I believe each student is unique. To support my unique learners, I must be aware of their strengths and growth areas through the use of personal interaction and assessment. Building trust and rapport, and showing genuine interest in each individual student is the key to being a successful teacher.
However, I think that this task should be shared by not just teachers and learners, but also of parents, school administrators, the school community itself, and to an extent, the whole community as well.

The parent and teacher relationship should be on good terms when I child is this young. Keeping the parent updated on their kids behavior and academic status in the classroom should be a key point to the teacher. if the teacher and parents do not have this relationship then the child may not be able to learn to the best of their possibilities, like the other children in the class.
In the school environment, it is always beneficial to build healthy relationships and have a wholesome rapport. The connection between schools, parents, and the community specifically has an essential role to play in the growth and development of its young people. In fact, they should all collaborate to encourage the welfare and learning of students. By involving parents and utilizing community resources, schools will be more prepared to handle student needs. The partnership will ultimately help children develop healthy behaviors and receive high-quality education. Research shows that students whose parents and communities are involved in their education are more likely to perform well academically, emotionally, and socially. Van Roekel (2008) reports, “When schools, parents, families, and communities work together to support learning, students tend to earn higher grades, attend school more regularly, stay in school longer, and enroll in higher level programs.” They go on to say that “strong school-family-community partnerships foster higher educational aspirations and more motivated students” (p. 1).
