This presentation would be to my colleagues who are dealing with children in the
Educational field. It is better to be done at the beginning of the educational year. This is considered to be a good opportunity for all the teachers and assistants to feel the sense of enthusiasm at the beginning of the year. Besides, they will have the chance to advocate the UNCRC during the year to the children and their families.
I prefer to hold my presentation physically at school (their work placement) for two reasons. The first reason is to enjoy the atmosphere of activities’ interactions, and the second one is to observe the audience’s enthusiasm, which they will use to advocate the children’s rights at the end of the presentation.
Before setting our presentation, we need to set the goals and objectives for the session.
Our objectives are:
1. To know the importance of educators in the advocacy process
2. To discuss the main problems and needs of children at school
3. How can we face these problems based on the UNCRC?
4. Our role promoting the children’s rights
1. Why do education professionals need to know about children’s rights?
As educators, we are in contact with the children and their families during most days of the year. That’s why; we play an important role in implementing the concepts of the children’s rights in the society.
Furthermore, the school is considered to be the first open community in the children’s lives, and their teachers are acting to be good role models for respecting the dignity and integrity of children (What educators can do, 2005) . For instance, we can show them how we respect their interests and active participation in our daily practice. This will reflect positively in...

you guide children toward understanding their rights, it's important that you help
build and maintain respect for their parents.
2. Develop oral history projects. Have children interview their elders born before
1971 about their experience with child rights. (Anyone born from 1972 onward
would have turned 18 after the adoption of the CRC.) These oral histories could
be published, broadcast, or turned into dramatic presentations.
3. Host lectures, book and poetry readings, or film festivals to explore, celebrate
and promote children’s rights. In or around November, display books, magazines
and posters on child rights” (Schools and Teachers, 2010, para.1, 7& 9)
Finally, ask the audiences to choose at least two tasks to do and write in the following action plan.
Action By When? Who else needs to be involved? Monitoring?
The most successful way to instill righteous and moral behavior and thoughts is by demonstrating our respectable interactions and honest problem solving approaches during difficult times of our lives. “As adults we should dare to be adults that we want our children to be”. They learn by watching and are quick to mimic our behavior with their peers outside of home. The author writes that “we should strive to raise children who: engage with the world from a place of worthiness, embrace their vulnerabilities and imperfections, feel a deep sense of love and compassion for themselves and others, value hard work, perseverance, and respect, and also move through our rapidly changing world with courage and a resilient spirit” (214, 218-219). All of these elements will help to transform the way we live, love, and

Define the current situation - break down problem into component parts, identify major problem areas, develop a target improvement goal
For me, these nine events can provide learning guidance in education filed especially for teachers including me. It was more like a checklist or a guideline and it really beneficial to be applied in teaching and learning. The first event or step of instruction is gain attention. For me, it is a must and important for an educator to begin the class with a short welcoming session. The questions like “How are you today?”, “Did you taking your breakfast or not?” can increase the level of interest among students to learn on that day. For Muslim especially, the teachers give salam during they entering the class. It is good and this first event must be continuously applied.
As an early childhood educator my job is not to simple play with children. I must plan, provide and supervise all while “playing” with my students. The classroom serves as the physical environment for the children for most of their waking hours. These classrooms need to be attractive and function effectively. Concerns for any early childhood educator should always include space, equipment and materials used, outdoor space and the daily schedule to ensure that all students are provided ample opportunities to learn and grow within a safe and secure environment.
This film focused on a teacher who was willing to fight for the students and find ways to reach them with tactics other than just typical pedagogy or academic discipline. Where it is commonly believed that students growing up in poor families seem to be labeled as juvenile delinquents and not much is expected of them, Mr. Dadier tried to change this perception by showing his s...

A vision must represent an organization’s desire where to be in the future. Possessing a perspicuous idea of where an organization is bounding for, it can increase coherency, eminency, and output. Establishing a goal should involve a sprightly contribution of the team. Goals are more effectual when they are generated as a team and necessitate collaboration. Goals must implement tasks that would fulfill the objectives. The tasks should be precise that indicate a determined amount of enhancement intended for and a particular time frame. ... those families in order to keep our democracy healthy. By providing quality out-of-school time programs, family engagement and support, and connections to other community institutions and agencies we can help children and families overcome obstacles. As I reflect on my twenty-three year teaching career and begin my new career as a literacy consultant, I feel I have an ethical responsibility to the teachers and students in my school districts in order to make positive changes for the good of society. Palmer’s quote, “If our experience in the company of strangers is to deepen our sense of civic community and help us cultivate democratic habits of the heart, the lens of compassionate imagination is crucial” (p. 116). As I embark on this new chapter in my life, I plan to put on my “lens of compassion” and will strive to be an ethical and moral steward for my community.
...rs, e-mail, phone calls, parent meetings, and parent-teacher conferences. As a result, she believes that the school her child attends is doing an effective job of communicating with parents and families because the resources are available to parents and families to use, it is just a matter of them wanting to use what is available to them.
A good establishment to one’s moral standards starts from an early stage that requires to be powered by parents. Thus, parents should inspire their ideas of appropriate morals from a very early age. Parental behavior affects the child's personality and the chances of developing moral absence. All parents have a duty towards their children but a number of these parents tend to care about their child’s academic education more than their moral standards; forgetting that it is most importantly to have moral values than to just learn. Parents are their child’s number one teacher they must teach them how life works, because life is not all about teaching them academically but morally as well. Thus, if parents don’t corporate and well-teach their children, they shouldn’t get surprised when their child ignores them or disrespects them. Yet, many of today’s parents seem to only care about their own pleasures rather than their children’s morals. A simple example, are parents who only care about having fun and enjoying their time leaving their kids behind for the nanny. Parents now often don’t have the time or can't be any bothered to spend the...
