Criteria B: Define the Goal
Topic
The objective of this project was to learn how to make desserts that are healthier and easier. I combined something I’ve had a passion for, cooking, and something that is a challenge for our society, health.
My topic of baking healthy desserts interests me a lot. Ever since my childhood, I’ve had a sweet-tooth and a passion for baking, as my mom works in a bakery. My mom would always bring home cookies and brownies, and I’ve always wanted to bake my own desserts, but make them healthier. As I got older, I’ve been trying to control the amount of sugar I eat; therefore I cut down on desserts. This inspired me to bake healthy desserts, so anyone could eat them, even if they’re on a diet.
Being able to bake is a great skill needed in a women’s life, it’s beneficial and healthy. Healthy desserts limit the about of sugar you eat and allows you to make the choices of how much of an ingredient you want. With healthy homemade desserts, it is guaranteed there won’t be any extra fat or sugar added.
As for the final product, I will create a personal online cookbook, for healthy desserts. The ability to create a website is a useful skill. In a world, where technology is advancing rapidly, knowing the basics of creating a website can be a helpful tool, for future jobs. A virtual cookbook is a very efficient way to store my recipes and it portrays the information in a multi-uncial way. There are images that can create a visual interpretation, and the recipes are very user-friendly. In addition, I could also continue to add on more recipes as I get older and expand my personal cookbook.

...n my way. Another important skill I learnt was how to prioritize my work. This project was my first long-term project, and went into the course of the school year. U learnt to make a list of all the tasks and accomplish what was the most important first. As the due date came closer, I had a large work-load, and therefore I had to prioritize a plan out when I will start my repot and so on.
All in all, I was very proud of the final project. This was a wonderful learning experience for me, and I am sure to continue on and use these skills for future purposes. I have learnt the basics of healthy desserts, and now I am ready to advance in the process. There were many changelings faced, but in the end, it’s the knowledge I have gained that matters. I am very proud that I have an insight on baking and making desserts that are healthy, and will help with a better lifestyle.

I have taken away from this project the importance of tolerance and understanding in all aspects of life. Instead of our differences separating us it should in fact unite us. Differences make our world a better place because it helps us define who we are as people. In my daily life I will focus on being more open minded and less judgmental of different cultures and

In project 9D that was assigned, it provided skills that were taught throughout chapter 9 that was able to be mastered in order to complete project 9D. In this particular project we was responsible of recording/assigning a macro, being able to activate the macro in sequence , writing a set of commands, using ActiveX control buttons, and add or take away from the commands code (View Code feature). Those 3 skills was the major lesson of the entire chapter 9. This was a pretty lengthy chapter that’s full of new, interesting, and useful material.
A. My favorite sweet treats are tiramisu, flan, and vanilla ice cream, with fresh strawberries.
Proper nutrition is important in maintaining a long and healthy life. Most Americans are rushed due to their busy work schedules, and do not take the time to plan their diets properly. Like me, most Americans are unaware of the importance of eating a healthy diet and consume too many foods without the proper nutrients. Throughout my life I have been fortunate. I have not had any major health problems, and have been able to consume most foods without having to worry about gaining weight. These last two years, however, I started to gain weight and have become concerned with my diet. Changing my poor eating habits has been difficult for me, however, having this assignment has taught me that it is not as difficult as I previously imagined.
There is no surprise that food is important in all aspects of our lives—it is shared amongst families, celebrated as a major part of our culture, and crucial to our daily routine that keeps us fit, healthy, and active. Today’s western culture glorifies a skewed perspective on how food is supposed to fit into our lives. Somehow this perception has led us to believe we no longer have the time or money it takes to prepare a wholesome, healthy meal that is shared at the dinner table with family. Instead, we are trained to want a meal that is fast, cheap, and easy. This meal is usually highly processed and filled with sugars and fats. This has led us to a problem of epidemic proportions characterized by the rapid increase in obesity and diabetes.
After a long deliberation I decided to do my behavior modification project on my unhealthy eating habits. There are many meaningful reasons why I choose this as my behavior to modify. I want to kick start a healthy lifestyle change by eating healthier and being more active. Another upside to modifying this behavior is too hopefully *fingers crossed* lose a few unwanted pounds. The long term goal of this change is to live a happier, healthier life, and become more confident in myself. I have high hopes that I can achieve all of these goals by cutting out junk food and sweets and replacing those items with nutritious and balanced food.
The first skill I feel as if I have mastered is the skill of formatting in APA. I believe that I can now create my title page and set my paper up in APA format easily and in a matter of seconds. I know that with the title page you need
(Attention Getter) It’s very likely that everyone in this room has tried to bake something before and failed miserably. You might have failed because you misread the directions or maybe you tried to substitute an ingredient, and ended up ruining the entire product. Well, I am here to give you guys a quick and easy recipe for chocolate chip cookies that even sleep-deprived college students can follow.
To meet the demands of quality baked goods market, Nona’s Sweets developed there own baked goods in 2001 what would enable customers to enjoy their own top quality baked goods with out the mess of the kitchen.
Although I have grown up to be entirely inept at the art of cooking, as to make even the most wretched chef ridicule my sad baking attempts, my childhood would have indicated otherwise; I was always on the countertop next to my mother’s cooking bowl, adding and mixing ingredients that would doubtlessly create a delicious food. When I was younger, cooking came intrinsically with the holiday season, which made that time of year the prime occasion for me to unite with ounces and ounces of satin dark chocolate, various other messy and gooey ingredients, numerous cooking utensils, and the assistance of my mother to cook what would soon be an edible masterpiece. The most memorable of the holiday works of art were our Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, which my mother and I first made when I was about six and are now made annually.
The first skill that I taught myself was to always be determined. This helped me greatly, for it put me in the right state of mind to continue my work at a high level. At some points, this determination led me to surpass my own expectations and achieve higher than what I had originally thought. Secondly, this experience helped me learn that I am adaptable. I couldn’t let this affect my future, life is too precious to waste it grieving over what was lost, but to embrace the new doors that open up. I had to learn how to become a stronger, and better person mentally. This had helped me adapt to a new life style, making myself a better person and improving on things that will help me later on in life. Because of this, I realized that I could overcome most obstacles that are placed in my way, and produce better work when faced with these obstacles. Thirdly, I learned how to be a mature person and grow up faster than I had ever thought. After this experience I realize how short life really is, and there is no time for me to waste in accomplishing my dreams. So I had to get back to work, and continue to strive to be the best. All the work that I had accomplished was improving. Only showing how I wont run away from a challenge, but rather embrace the obstacles in my way to become a stronger
My family and I often visit family in Chicago, and when we do, we always go to the Oak Mill Bakery. Every time we have gone we are greeted with spectacular customer service and mouthwatering treats. The bakery specialty is European style baked goods and has been in business since 1986 (Oak Mill Bakery, n.d.). Oak Mill strives to use all natural ingredients, which is one on of the reasons my family makes an effort to visit every time we are in town. The bakery serves cakes, cookies, cupcakes in many different styles. As noted before, they have a European twist to all their sweets, which makes them mouthwatering and unforgettable.
This was a long-term design project, and everything was fresh to me. Patience was the crucial and essential factor that was needed in such a long project in my view. Fortunately, I learned and gained the patience. Besides, communication was another extremely significant factor. It was essential to communicate and discuss with the pathway tutors and the course mates regularly, for the information of the tutor was the most useful advice in the process of major project. Overall, I achieved these two important factors which also could be described as strengths.
