Only a few things can be explained without chemistry. Otherwise, it is everywhere, both visible and invisible to the naked eye, from the chemical reactions in our bodies to the atmospheric conditions on inhabitable planets. I feel drawn to chemistry because I have a desire to learn how things come into being. It impresses me how scientists, before the advancement of technology, helped uncover mysteries in the world without the help of complicated machinery.
My love for chemistry began in year 9 with lessons on atomic structure. I remember studying uses of elements and being excited to identify the alloys used in the manufacture of kitchen supplies. I love how all sciences, specifically chemistry and physics, are endlessly being discovered. These discoveries have been the building blocks of our community. Every day I come across various articles in news publications about an

I want to prosper academically, as well as help the society. As human beings, it should be our duty to help those who need it. The world has advanced in ways where emotions are belittled in favor of practicality. However, it is these emotions that make us human. We are constantly trying to chase success and make a legacy for ourselves. And in the hunger for success, we forget to give back to society. My time at Al Noor reminds me every day to not allow this hunger to overpower me. Al Noor has given me a goal in life; to help people. It is now my goal to establish an NGO that provides services to anyone who needs them. I want to battle stereotypes that surround special needs children and help integrate them easily into society. There are two children in my family who are autistic, and I have personally seen the prejudice and difficulties these children face daily. Life provided me with countless blessings. It is my turn to repay life by helping those in
I consider myself a driven, honest, hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated individual. I love to learn, to work, to improve, and most of all to help others. My life goal is to positively impact the lives of others and furthermore the community. While I can not predict how exactly I will do this I start by treating others well, helping out where help is needed, and dedicating myself to my education where I will expand my knowledge and acquire new skills.
I also hope to help as many people around me at the same time so that they may have the life that they need. I wish to gain the skills needed to work with people as well as learning fast so that I am able to take on tasks without much difficulty. I want this to be a time to grow and find a place for myself in this life so that I can do as much good as possible. I expect to accomplish my high school degree with the highest gpa possible from where I am at in my schooling. I expect to learn valuable life skills that I can share with others in my life.
In a world where every individual desires to acquire money, prosper, and make a life for themselves nevertheless no part of my being aspires any of it. My life's work wants nothing more than to help other people because at the end of the day, my long list of people I have helped will be worth more than your money. The way I grew up, I would have been the same way as everyone else, but it was with the experiences I have gone through along with my favorite movie, book, quote, historical figure, and my very own personal hero which all single handedly helped mold me to the person I am glad to be today.
I have accomplished many things that people would always doubt of especially attending college which requires a higher academic standard. But, I’m here to inspire others with autism that God is in control and our faith is what unites us.” He has dedicated his life to spreading his message through churches and on social media informing others that there is hope. Everyone can relate to the question since we all face challenges throughout life that others wouldn’t understand. In the eyes of God, Rudy is an average person who is a disable person, but it didn’t stop him from attending college. Also, Rudy explains that “Autism defines me and he understands others who have experience and related to them.” On numerous occasions, I asked my brother if he would wish wasn’t born with a disability but always replied with no. Personally, I would have never wanted my brother to be born with autism since he has experienced many difficulties in
With my whole heart , I believe that people should be much more understanding, and tolerant to people with the syndrome called Autism. I can relate to that, because my brother has the syndrome of ASD. He proved to me thousands of times , that Autism does not have to control your life in a bad way. The last , and most important thing I want to say is that everybody should be much more understanding to people with Autism. We have to remember , that they've already can have a hard life, and our job is to help them. They are people as we are , and they deserve to have friends, and fun in their lives.
“If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism,” Dr. Stephen Shore. I believe this is a powerful quote that truly defines autism and those who have to experience it every day. People who have autism are often stigmatized that they are not like everyone else. This negative image can be blamed on how TV and media represent those with this disorder, according to Douwe. This idea first begs the question, what is normal? In today’s society, people are trying to be like everyone else if this means wearing the same clothes or acting the same as everyone else just to avoid attention. Well, autistic people are not able to hide behind this false curtain. What disadvantages they have is not something they can change, but rather
ly can relate a little better to them and their world. These forms of treatment are sometimes unsatisfying because some people unfortunately cannot relate to the therapy. The medical attention that one needs if they have autism shows us that these beings have little to no social skills. Proper socialization is needed in order to succeed in the world, in order to communicate to the world, and in order to survive in the world. These unlucky persons who handle autism everyday sometimes don’t know where they are, what they’re doing, can’t talk, and feel completely withdrawn from the world.
Throughout my life I have always been curious about the world around me and I strove to understand it at a deeper level. Driven by my curiosity, I took college accredited science courses in high school, and I enjoyed the hands-on work in my chemistry class and was drawn to how fundamental it is to my everyday life.
My goal as a teacher is not only effectively communicate the fundamental concepts and facts of chemistry, but also the excitement and rewards of making original discoveries in this most fundamental and ubiquitous experimental s...
Kids with autism are often at times considered to be "outcasts" or to have no emotion or empathy to other people. But children that have autism could just be doing what they think is right for the situation that is at hand. People all across the world think that autistic kids can't do things just because they have autism. Many think that since a child with autism can't talk that they are not happy or don't like to be around people. But many times the child in this situation is just being misunderstood.
Though many people fail to realize it, chemistry is a subject essential to everyday life, due to the fact that it is the branch of science that deals with the identification of the substances of which matter is composed. But what we must understand is that everything in the universe is composed of matter, hence chemistry is necessary in learning more about the world and universe that we live in. There are many careers and fields affiliated with chemistry that people pursue to learn more about the composition of the universe, but for now, let us examine the logistics of three of these careers. These three careers involving chemistry are geochemistry, environmental chemistry, and chemical engineering.
My own mother, throughout her teaching carrier, has taught many children diagnosed with autism Spectrum Disorder. Through first hand knowledge she has observed what “An asset to the classroom” these children truly are. In reflection of their inclusion and attendance in mainstream school system, her pupils build resilient, patient and empathetic qualities while learning to be accepting of those who are
Throughout my school career I have always loved chemistry. In Chemistry there was always a sense that there was more, there was always something new and exciting to be discovered and theories to be proven (or even disproven). Chemistry was the main subject with a real practical aspect to it during school and it is this, along with my genuine fascination with the subject, which fuels my desire to study it further.
I aspire to further my education so I can aid people on another level, their emotional level to better their lives. No plan is concrete; nothing ever turns out exactly the way we want it. There are times when there are millions of things piled upon us. People in general stress too much.
I have been working as a home care provider for children and adults with Autism for almost three years now. Throughout my time connecting with these people and their families, I have learned many things valuable to me that I will continue to apply to my life for as long as I live. However, there are a few lessons in particular that I have learned that will influence my academic work and goals at Colorado Christian University; never give up and be a light. I can say my entire career as a whole has established these lessons, but one particular child I worked with truly showed me that all things are possible if you never stop trying and always lead with love. This young man is thirteen years old, and would be classified as severely Autistic.
