As a high school senior, over the years I have had multiple opportunities to put myself out in different organizations and activities. Throughout my high school career, I have done just that and managed to stay on top of my academics while enjoying the extracurricular activities. Education has always been my main priority, and is the reason as to why I am going to continue furthering my education at college. The long-term goals I have in my life are just important as the short-term goals, and are the motivation for my schooling and what I do with the rest of my time. Abraham Lincoln once said, “The best way to predict your future is to create it” I couldn’t agree more. Opportunities come up in our lives every day, and it’s our choice to seize them, or to just continue our daily routine. Our goals for the future differ as we grow older. When I was young, I had dreams of becoming a doctor or the next president, then as the years went by, I had developed more realistic goals. Goals such as going to college, obtaining a successful job, and having my own family. These goals are all still very prominent in my life today and are a large part of my motivation. Growing up, I had always fantasized of what the perfect family would be like. I had even found names that I would name my future children. Family is my main focus and I pray that God blesses me with the opportunity to find a loving husband who loves Christ more than anything and will help me lead our family to a life glorifying to God. My relationship with Christ is a large factor in my life, and will be in my future family. After graduating college, I am hoping to have a steady career, and then eventually get married.
