1. As we look back on the past we need to recognise the small things, the small things with big matter. 100 years ago Lourdes Hill College, a Good Samaritan Education school, started in the year 1916. In the suburb of Hawthorn on the Bulimba Reach of the Brisbane River, at the request of Archbishop Duhig, the Good Samaritan Sisters founded the college (one of three schools that was founded at the time by the sisters). One of the most memorable features of Lourdes Hill College, The Grotto, was the first feature built in the college and will be continued to be looked up to and admired by the students at Lourdes Hill College. The values of the school, are based on three sources: The Compassion of the Good Samaritan, the patronage of Mary under

Penn West is a pretty interesting company. Though it may be suffering through many problems, some investors are being recommended to invest in this company. I’d like to talk about this company and the difficult situation it’s in. At the end I think you should decide whether investing in this company would be worth it.

Almost nothing is better than getting a good education and it is important for everyone to attend where PCC is a great place to start. So, Pasadena City College is located in Colorado Blvd and the school has a lot of beautiful views. In my opinion, PCC is a great school due to their diverse programs and the supports that they offered to students.

The issue in modern day is how the Administrative Staff at HBCU’s can improve the experience of each student. HBCU’s have been in existence for almost two centuries now. Their mission is to educate African Americans. More than 50% of HBCU graduates start careers in teachers. But, HBCU’s have been facing challenges such as their decrease in diversity, financing, and retention rate which. In order to improve the overall experience for students while they matriculate through their college experience HBCU's must revamp the visitation policy.

Since its founding in 1835, UWA has underwent 10 name changes, including its most recent and most controversial in 1995, from Livingston University to The University of West Alabama. Despite the many name changes and facelifts that UWA has seen over the years, one thing has always stayed the same: its purpose. Marc (pseudonym), the student that is attending the community college grew up near the area of the school. Marc is currently attending American River College and is currently in his second year. Overall he has completed three semesters of general education. This is third semester which also includes him taking courses that entails his major preparation courses. He is participating in Puente and TRIO Journey as well as TRIO STEM which is for first generation students that helps students identify the gap in education that they did not receive in high school or at home. He is currently decided on Electrical Engineering as his major. I have the opportunity to see Marc in two different spaces, one in the HUB, the center of students services on campus. The other is having the ability to see him in the Human Career Development course as part of being part the TRIO Journey program. In this class, I can also further assess his characteristics as an individual and in a collectivistic environment. The key presenting issue with Marc is that he is a community college student that is stuck, regarding his decision towards his transfer, major and location of schools.
