Almost nothing is better than getting a good education and it is important for everyone to attend where PCC is a great place to start. So, Pasadena City College is located in Colorado Blvd and the school has a lot of beautiful views. In my opinion, PCC is a great school due to their diverse programs and the supports that they offered to students. First of all, PCC has the convenience of transportation because a lot of bus stops are around PCC. We can take buses to a lot of different places. If you are PCC’s student, we can apply and get a card or pass that only cost thirty dollar per semester. We can use that card or pass to take buses unlimited times. In addition, PCC is a safety college. PCC has campus policies who are protect the student

...ce to become independent but also creates additional jobs for teachers. Corresponding to the new teachers being hired, they need to be able to generate good ideas. Usually, that help comes from references and resources on the internet. With that said, all classrooms in every building on the campus should be fully up to date with new technologies such as projectors and the latest Windows® software. Having such software makes the teachers’ life and students learning experience more enjoyable. Finally, to put a cherry on top of making Camden County College one of the best educational institutes would be to have more parking. Inconvenient is one word that comes to mind. A parking garage can help eliminate the stress about finding a parking spot and making it to class on time. All in all, accessible parking is another great way to make this an optimal learning environment.
No matter the previous career path, preventive circumstances, prior academic history or lack of self-confidence, these colleges provide the tools for anyone to further their education. The common students at these facilities understand the importance of education because they’ve experienced the beast of life. One could argue that perhaps this understanding goes a bit deeper than that of one at a four year institution. Any way you slice it, community colleges offer the ability for everyone to academically arrive on common ground. This should be a triumph, not a
The California Community Colleges (CCC) system is composed of 108 colleges organized into 72 districts that serve more than 1.4 million students statewide. Under the direction of the CCC board of governors, the Chancellor’s Office provides statewide guidance and leadership to the community colleges. In addition, the voters in each district elect a board of trustees charged with developing local policies that govern the day-to-day operations at the district’s colleges, including overseeing the compensation of teaching faculty and other employees. For the fall 1999 semester, the districts reported to the Chancellor’s Office a total population of 41,754 teaching faculty, of which 28,180 (67 percent) were classified as part-time and 13,574 (33
Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of Skagit Valley College, I still continue on with my life doing completely nothing about any of these areas. Skagit Valley College is excellent enough for me, mainly because I want to graduate high school earlier with some college experience. The weaknesses for the college and criminal justice classes are not a huge issue, and do not cause any problems.

There isn't anything more important to community colleges than the certainty that they can and should provide all qualified people who are looking to be accepted with admittance (Vaughan). The people of the community college represent forty-four percent of all undergraduates and forty-nine percent of students attending college for the first time (David). These students include a lot of minority students, students with a low social standing and the non-standard (age twenty-five and older) student who commonly enters college less academically equipped (David). Most community colleges have made immense advancement in reducing a lot of geographical and economic blockades that have in the past limited college admittance (David). Community colleges are to be expected to present significant support to increasing occupation proficiency in the future as additional workers realize they must continue to improve their ability all the way through their profession (Black). All students should have the right to expand their knowledge through higher education regardless of how they did in high school.

Although they are both a lot alike, there are many differentials of the two. Universities are known for having large campuses; consequently, resulting in large number of students in each class. While Universities can range from having 20-1000 participants at a time, community colleges usually have no more than 50 participants in a class. As a result of such a large class size, it is harder for a professor to be able to develop the one-on-one time with a student. Due to most co...
The final assumption that is not as expressed as often is the thought that Community colleges have low academic standards. However, this is just simply not true. students usually have to take placement tests in order to qualify for college level work. Technical and special programs have high standards and students compete to enroll. Going off that, community colleges just offer extra support to students to see them succeed.
Dear Marco: I write you this letter because I know that you are looking another type of university which name is PCC (Pensacola Christian College). I read about this university and in my point of view, I am completely disagreeing with the university and even more with the rules, we know that you like so much the parties but if you can see the rules of the university, they have several restrictions which for example you can not drink on the campus or off campus even though you are over 21 years old.
Community colleges are less expensive than a four-year college. Parents are saving their money from a lot of things especially books because they are coming out of pockets to pay for their children books. Community colleges lecture and online classes are a lot cheaper as well. Going into a four-year university classroom there could be over 50 students. The community colleges have smaller classroom which could be helpful for some students. Their schedule is flexible for those students who have work or kids.
