Attending PLNU will result in undertaking numerous challenges, as one should understand as a Christian living in one’s faith. The institute caters to those who yearn for spiritual growth, and so chapel services provide an excellent opportunity to expand on their Biblical understanding. The community living agreement expects students to attend three mandatory chapel services every week as well as participating in three religion courses, which are part of the general education requirements. Students are required to refrain from using alcoholic beverages, smoking tobacco, and other prohibited substances. Upon arriving to college, many students face the challenge of finding a community to belong to. I believe the student affairs professionals on campus are the resource to building communities within the student body. Reflecting back on my first semester of college, I found my community within two organizations; Dance Marathon and UI Alumni Association Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (S.T.A.T.). Within the organizations I met two advisers who opened my eyes to the world of student affairs.
The strengths and weaknesses of Skagit Valley College differ from which campus you attend. The particular strengths and disadvantages can range from: students able to retake their Compass Test, high school students can attend free, Skagit prepares students for four year colleges; but my campus does not have many classes, its first come/first serve, and it’s a small school that doesn’t have many programs. My campus has criminal justice classes, but not a criminal justice program. The class points you in the right direction but doesn’t help you in real life situations. Almost nothing is better than getting a good education and it is important for everyone to attend where PCC is a great place to start. So, Pasadena City College is located in Colorado Blvd and the school has a lot of beautiful views. In my opinion, PCC is a great school due to their diverse programs and the supports that they offered to students.

I came out of my adviser's office and made the turn down the long hallway toward the student parking lot. My face was hot from all the emotions that seemed to be burning through my skin and I could feel tears building up in my eyes. Looking down, I tried not to confront anyone as I walked swiftly to my car, opened the door, and fell into my seat. Staring, lost into the parking lot that was full of cars, I sat there wondering what my next step should be. My adviser had just told me, in the nicest way possible, that I had failed. If I wanted to continue my college career, I would have to make an appointment with the dean of the college and give him an explanation as to why I should be able to continue classes at Mayland Community College. The truth was, I didn't have an explanation. I felt as if I had no purpose there. I didn't have any interest in being in college, but I knew that I did not want to be a waitress for the rest of my life.
In the event they build a career, they are likely to be deemed unproductive and ineffective.
