The range went from 1= not prepared 3= prepared and 5= very prepared. In all three categories, I am above a 3 which I feel I have obtained this by interning, performing job shadows, working with a mentor, workshops, and school classes. My highest result is in career exploration with a 4 indicating that I am very involved in career exploration and will be helpful when I begin to narrow down my options and set my career goals. In my internship, I am able to mentor with everyone on my team as well as going into completely different departments to see a different side of the company. While doing this, I realized I do not want to go into billing. My dad also has a lot of connections and friends in different industry that have sat down with me to tell me about their job so I can learn more about what jobs I can get with a business degree. Not only has connection form work and family helped me in this section, but I feel like I am nervous …show more content…
I would like to work for a company who is helping others or making a good impact. I would love to work for a company that allows me to grow within the company such as learning wise and positions. Another big factor for me is the benefits the company offers due to my health issues. I know I want to have a job that I can enjoy as much as possible even though it will not always be a perfect day in the office. I want to have a job where I do not sit at the computer all day long as well. I would not mind having a job that travels especially when I first start since I am young and do not have restrictions. Some of my career goals I have made already are to be involved within the company with company, community and volunteer events. After working for a few years, I want to go back and earn my MBA or what additional education will help my performance in my career. My long term main goal is to hold a management or executive position as well as truly enjoy my

I have known from an early age that I’ve wanted to become a doctor. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, after working with young children I have found that I love working with them, and have a connection with children. Currently, I am interested in becoming either a neonatologist or a general pediatrician so I can continue to work with young children.
For learning environment, it stated that I prefer to learn by doing which is absolutely correct, although my score is a 41, which is higher than I would have expected as I am not one who learns well by just reading books alone. My leadership states I probably prefer to lead by example with a score of 36 is correct with my social anxiety I have a difficult time ordering others around; I would rather do it myself. With risk taking, I received my lowest score of 34 being that I may dislike taking risks. This also has a lot to do with my anxiety since taking more risk will create more anxiety which I like to avoid. Then last I have team orientation, which stated I would enjoy both team roles and independent roles with a score of 48.
I feel like I can give my industry not just an employee, but someone that truly cares about his patients. To be the best at whatever I do is always a goal of mine and that will transfer to my career choice. Many may describe me as an outgoing person and I believe that will allow me to work well with others; including coworkers, patients, and other clients.

I have the ability to balance work and time to relax. It is very important to me that I do what I love and love what I do. When an individual is doing what they are meant to do, they realize their potential and purpose in life. I would be fine with moving away initially to gain experience, but I would like most of my career to take place around Louisiana or Texas. Another thing that I will look for in a job is the opportunity for promotions. Working in an environment where promotions and raises are available will help keep me motivated. These promotions will only be attainable if I continue to learn and improve myself. I will not be able to attain any of my goals without lifelong

Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. If a person likes the job they do then it is not work, because finding satisfaction out of a job can bring great happiness. That information has enabled me to make the decision of choosing my area of study and career in the field of Information Technology.
