People always say that video games of a genera are all the same, that once you play one you've played them all. They say this especially with fps games, because some are similar in how they work. There are a lot of fps games out there like, Overwatch, titanfall, etc. But the two most similar ones call of duty and battlefield are actual one of the most different. They have a lot of things in common but even more things not. Some may argue that they are almost clones of each other. Because both are fps games that are in semi realistic war scenarios. Both call of duty and battlefield are very successful game titles, along with a large amount of fans. Also both are multiplayer focused making most of their money this way. This plays a key role in both of these games because they are multiplayer focused war games. Call of duty is a very fast paced shooter were matches between two teams could last only minutes. But Battlefield is a slower paced game were matches could take 30 minutes to a hour in larger games. Another big difference is what that combat is based around. In call of duty the combat is based around infantry which is all controlled by real people. They fight to win and only the most skilled team will win. In Battlefield the combat is based around vehicles also controlled by real people. The vehicles dominate the battlefield able to change the course of the match. Combat is not the only difference between these two. Call of duty's weapons all do the same thing whether its guns, gadgets, or grenades. They all kill other players with the exception of one weapon that takes down other gadgets. In battlefield all weapons have different purposes. They can kill other people, take down their vehicles, block the enemy, or suppress the enemy. In call of duty you can have 12 people total in a game.
