Recommended: Xbox 1 vs playstation 4 essay

All console video game players know the two big competitors, PlayStation and Xbox. They are constantly at each other trying to one up the competition. They both just released their newest console, the ps4 and Xbox one. In my humble opinion (backed with facts) I believe one just destroyed the other one. This would be the ps4. It's superior hardware, exclusives , and ability to let you save money gives it a huge lead in front of the Xbox one. For gamers the decision between these two is a huge choice and I'm here to lead you in the right direction.
First of all, probably the biggest point is the hardware. They both have a x86 AMD APU at the heart of each which is a high end processor. This gives them similar qualities but the ps4 has the edge with a bigger Gpu giving it 18 compute units while the Xbox one has 12. This is 1152 shaders compared to Xbox’s 768. This in simple terms gives the ps4 the ability to have better graphics. Ps4 also has another bonus in graphics. While both have 8GB of RAM the ps4 has 5500MHZ. The Xbox one has only 2133MHz. This gives the ps4 better frame rates which means it can run smoother. This gives ps4 the edge in game performance. …show more content…

While this can depend on what games you really want it's arguable the ps4 can show for more. It has Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, No Man’s sky, Until dawn, Infamous, and Horizon Zero Dawn. These are all triple A games and highly anticipated and only on the ps4. Also the ps4 has the PlayStation VR(virtual reality) headset coming out. Xbox and Microsoft do not have a VR headset on the way so this is huge for ps4. It will be affordable and great for the gamers and is definitely a factor in making it better than the Xbox one.
