Talking about certain topics with someone may cause disagreements that lead to debates. Debates meaning that stuff said will not always be agreed between the people talking about them. One would say that this show is awesome because they have this person in it. Someone that hears that will not agree because they think that the plot is good but the actors that play that character aren’t good at all. In “World of Wrestling” by Roland Barthes the story talks about wrestling as a sport and how to be connected to other sports. The story also talks on how wrestling is different from other sports and how that impacts the viewers. People that debate those things can talk about how the way they look if talking about a car or if they are an actor how they perform. People can get carry away when talking about just the good in two things. Talking about difference to will help in decided on how people feel about the topics that are being talk about. People that take the time to talk about things means that they care enough about them to talk. The two do have a lot that are different about them but they do have some things that are the same when it comes to their customers. Both of them “bring a justice that is serving to the bad to show that good will always win.” (Barthes 10). People spend money to watch the wrestlers do amazing things that make the people wanting to stay to watch more. People want to see what new things that wrestlers have come up with like new music to showing off new finishing moves. Doing that will keep people coming to watch them perform for years to come. Call of Duty keeps people around by having a new game every year that is better than the last one with story and online play. Call of Duty has this thing of making a game from the past and then the next year to make a game from the future. By doing that then people can play in the old wars one year with crazy story and online play then turn around to buy the next game to have it be in the year 2210 or farther. Players that get the different year sets will not get bored if they just play one type of era and they will go out to buy the next Call of Duty to see what era they are in
A strong example is the way they learn. Santiago learns through observation and actions, while the Englishman can only learn by reading books. They have even tried the other’s method, but failed to learn anything. This is an important difference because they would have to find different methods to learn the same thing, which would take different amounts of time. Another contrast between the two is their beliefs. Santiago is obviously a believer in God, while the Englishman appears to hold to no particular religion. In other words, this means he is more than likely an Atheist. This contrast is more of a conflict between them, as most religious differences are. I believe conflict has a number of different meanings, like a fight or perhaps a feud, or maybe even just an everyday argument. But also it could be referred to as a clash, not as a physical clash but a clash. of two different things completely opposite coming together.
In literature there are 3 diffrent types of conflict, man versus man, man versus nature and man verus himself. A conflict is something that opposes the protagonist in the story.
The comparison and contrast between these two stories is evident. They both developed as characters in similar settings but have different situations and outcomes. They differed in their goals and how they would achieve their goals and their mental health status sets them apart. These stories have contrast and similarities, over all the differences outweigh the comparisons.
Throughout the movie there are numerous occasions in which the comparisons between the two are noticeable.

In photography it is common for images to have similar qualities and at the same time, have qualities that oppose each other. In order to show that two photographs can be similar yet very different, the two images I chose were Chariots of Fire by Adam Bartos and The Open Door by William Henry Fox Talbot. These two images are not only similar and different in regards to their formal elements and composition but the artists who created them are focused on the same goals of their photography. I’m the type of guy that would go out and buy a Call of Duty game, pop it open and gather all my friends and jump right into it. Call of Duty is one of the most popular games out and many people love to play. It is competitive, it has online play, and you can also create a clan or group to play against other people around the world online. Call of Duty dates back to 2003 and really wasn’t popular then because it’s all about killing your enemy. Many parents didn’t want their child to play the game. Growing up, I didn’t know much about video games, so I wasn’t really into them until I started playing Call of Duty. Not only does it have military based features, it also has zombies and/or aliens features as well.
