I am one of America’s future leaders because I have shown throughout my high school and college careers that I am very determined. It doesn’t matter how hard the challenge is, I will always accept it. I am the type of student who does homework on Friday nights instead of going to parties. While being a full time college student, I also work a part time job, and spend a large amount of my time studying. I have held down two part time jobs at one point in my college career while also being a member of the President’s Honor List. I am not the type of person who gives up. I will be a leader because I have my eyes on my goal and I haven’t taken them off of it once. I have demonstrated my strong will by taking courses such as Physics, Biology, and Philosophy as transfer electives instead of easier classes. Leaders have a plan for success, and work hard according to their plan; therefore, I have taken many courses towards my undergraduate degree at my community college. …show more content…

Leaders are the type of people who make commitments and follow through. If I give someone my word on something, they can count on it. I will be a leader because I will be a highly educated member of society once I receive my final college degree. I want to get my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and my masters to be a Speech Language Pathologist. I am going to give back to my community by working to help make the world a better place. Adequate communication skills are necessary for a full life. I will be working with many different groups of people, therefore it is imperative that I have well-developed communication skills. Everyone needs communication skills in order to interact well with the rest of society. I will be qualified to work with the elderly, middle aged people, young children, or special needs individuals. I have a special love for children with developmental disorders, so I think that is where I want to channel my
