With Apples release of the Ipad in the near future, the main question on everyone's mind is how will this “computer” change the face of computers. This leads to the question of will the Ipad change technology in a significant way. I think the potential is available for Apple and the Ipad to change consumer interaction with technology, meaning changing the market for personal and professional computers, but not all the ducks are in a line just yet for this type of technical revolution. It the Ipad changes anything
Interaction
Number one most important way the Apple Ipad will change the way we use technology is through technology interaction. Design is very important in the technology world, and when people can be incorporated into computer and gadget design the way we use and view our gadgets changes. The multi-touch feature already available on the Iphone and Ipod touch will bring computers into the next generation. Multi-touch allows users to zoom and maneuver their digital worlds in a way that typical computer systems lack.
Applications
Applications are among some of the most important things the Ipad will bring to the table
Playing computer Games by dragging dragging your index finger across the surface is only one way that audiences will be able to feel the games. The Ipad may serve as a jumping off point for other interactive touch screen gaming, making video games even more palpable.
Reading
Books are becoming increasingly more digital, the release of the Kindel set the digital book age in motion. The Ipad hopes to bring books and print media to users in its own interactive digital way, possibly out shadowing the Kindel soon due to its other useful functions. The book function in the Ipad even gives the reade...

It won't be long until we can handwrite signatures on our tables and finalize all our matters in a digital age, hopefully cutting back on paper trails and wasted resources. Meaning more technology companies will have to scramble to green their processes in order to reach a broader market.
Overall, the Apple Ipad offers a lot of Apple's gusto and user conscious aspects, but it is a long way from being the computer everyone wants. For now its a step better than an ipod, and a controversy of technology that could spark “the next big thing.” As a final thought, even if the Ipad does not revolutionize technology it will hit a mark in the accessories category. Millions of users will be faced with the process of carrying and storing their Ipad with easy accessibility and safety of their new $499 toy in mind.

Almost every device has some type of computer in it. Whether it is a cell phone, a calculator, or a vending machine. Even things that we take for granted most cars since the 1980’s have a computer in it or a pacemaker. All of the advancements in computers and technology have led up to the 21st century in which “the greatest advances in computer technology will occur…” Mainly in areas such as “hardware, software, communications and networks, mobile and wireless connectivity, and robotics.”
Technology has made our lives more productive in many different ways. One of the greatest inventions is Apple’s products. It leads to an evolution of tablet devices. An iPad or iPhone can act as a textbook, laptop, navigation, camera, notebook, gaming devices and more. It combines all the other devices into one, which allows us to manage our time effectively.
Another big change that computers have made in our everyday lives is that with the internet we can now access information about just about anything, at any time, and we can do this from the comfort of our own home. Credit cards can be used to do on-line shopping at virtually any store. E-mail has changed the way that people communicate, it is usually free of charge and mail is sent and received in minutes. Devices such as video phones and web-cams make video conferencing possible. This allows people to see who they are talking to in “real-time” even if they are on opposite ends of the map.
