"Dress code is stupid. Dress code shouldn’t exist" Marley says confidently. "Explain." Mrs. Johnson states curiously. "Here's my reasons, they are valid, just in case you wanted to try and claim my facts are invalid. This is my opinion and you should be that last person to try and say something about my facts. Let me start by saying, dress code has been seriously preventing kids from expressing their true colors. There's no point in buying clothes if I can't wear what I want. There's no point in coming to school if I don't get to wear my wardrobe." Marley says. "What do you think the definition of "school" then?" Mrs. Johnson ask. "Well if I can explain "school" is a place you go so you can get judged by irrelevant people who claim that the little hole in my pants is a "distraction to boys" When really that little hole isn't really bothering anybody. No, I didn’t think so. So, stop talking, because we listen to you ask questions and we listen to you yell and teach and we can't talk without raising our hands. So, sweetie, we don’t blurt out in class so let's learn how to raise our hand when we want to speak. School is basically a place where you sit in a desk and raise our hand when we want to speak, and then give us a small break to eat, then go home, go to sleep, wake up and the day repeats. But as I was saying, I'm just saying if we didn’t have dress code then no one would be upset at the fact that we can't wear that cute crop top in our closet.
