I believe that my abilities, interests, and values are a good fit for the tasks and goals of the American Red Cross as I consider the opportunity to work as an operations intern there. First of all, I have a strong desire to improve and help the lives of others and to help humanitarian causes. I strongly believe in the American Red Cross’s mission to provide disaster assistance, crisis help for communities, and health and safety training. Being a part of an organization that puts compassion and service first appeals to me and allows me to contribute to such valuable causes. I am interested in further improving my abilities through hands-on training and gaining knowledge at the company. Moreover, in terms of compatibility, I think that my principles and those of the American Red Cross are pretty close, and I am glad to have the opportunity to work as their intern and support their goals and missions. I believe that I can contribute significantly to the organization’s operations and I am determined to work in a similar setting at the American Red Cross. Also, considering my willingness to work in a similar setting in the future, I have no problems working or I am open to it. During my internship at the American Red Cross, I was able to learn new skills such as front desk operations, working remotely, and helping with office tasks. I was able to gain not only new skills but also the challenges of working with team members, which further strengthened my interest in helping others.
