Why I Chose High School

When I first entered high school, I was one of the most diligent students in the school. I placed in the top 5% of my class, I spent nearly all of my lunch keeping up with my assignments, and I would spend my weekends studying. I would give it my all, and then reap the benefit. After my freshman year, I auditioned for the Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts. As excited as I was to begin attending this prestigious academy, I did not realize how difficult it would be to keep up my grades. Although, I currently thrive as a Theatre major at this school, it was a culture shock in the beginning. Particularly, when I first started going to LVA, I woke up at 4 am to prepare for a 7 am start time at school. Las Vegas Academy is on the other side
