I believe I should be chosen to be a member of National Honor Society. It is a great opportunity to expand my leadership skills and get more involved with my community. I am a very hardworking student and would be incredibly honored to get the chance to prove how determined I am. If I were to be accepted into NHS I would do my best to help my peers, my school, and my town. School is a huge representation of one’s character and work ethic. I think it shows a lot about a person when they put effort into their school work and grades, because it reflects how hard they are willing to work for their goals and aspirations. Grades are extremely important to me, so I work hard to do my best and achieve my goals. I plan on furthering my education
after highschool and I think being a member of NHS would be extremely beneficial for me. Not only will it introduce me to new skills I can use to become more proficient, but it can help me find the right colleges to apply to. To me, community is one of the most important parts of society. We would not benefit if we didn’t help each other and push each other to improve. There are many times when people in our community, whether it be our school, work, or town, are in need of aid. It is our job to come together and make sure that they are safe, happy, and healthy. To me, community is a family. If I get accepted into NHS I plan to work hard to help my community, because I care about it and I’m passionate about contributing to it. One skill that I believe is especially important is being a good leader. Everything in the world functions under leaders, and the successful things always have a good leader. Whether it be an entire country or a group project, having a leader that is calm and assertive while remaining friendly is very beneficial. It changes the way everyone else in the group thinks and works. I like to think my leadership skills are good, but I can admit that there is always room for improvement. I believe that NHS could really help me become a better leader and a better person in general. I think NHS could be the next step to expanding my problem solving and leadership skills and becoming a better member of my community. I work very hard to achieve the grades I want, and I believe that if I apply that same determination to other things then I can be capable of accomplishing a lot. For these reasons, I hope that I am strongly considered to be accepted into National Honor Society.
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
...use of this issue. Even I prefer learning for my own pleasure over school work, but this competition is what molds students into high-achieving individuals. Having to work up to a deadline, conducting research, and collaborating with peers for group projects are all necessary tasks in the "real world". It is true that success can be achieved without school, but school is only one of the many pathways an individual can choose in order to become educated. School provides students with the ability to strive in the real word by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. When asked what I am studying for, I can say that I am studying to become someone who can make a difference. I may not enjoy the stress and anxiety that comes with school, but I cherish the fact that school is providing me with the knowledge and skills I need to further my dreams.
I am writing to inform you of my possible contributions to the National Honor Society and my interest in becoming a member. I view myself as a strong minded individual with a strong incentive to learn. Acquiring the ability to learn fast and adapt quickly has enabled me to be a part of a wide range of organizations. My participation and loyalty to the NHS could result in a great strive forward. I could provide more ideas of services to benefit the school and our community. I would also devote a large portion of my free time to the organization and assist in any way possible. Whether that means coming in early in the morning or staying late after school, I would do any means necessary to show my commitment.
I would be an excellent choice to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society because I show service, leadership, character, and citizenship. It is an amazing opportunity anyone is lucky to have, and I am more than happy to accept it. I love helping people, being able to feel accomplished knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. Being in the National Junior Honor Society, I’d love to share my ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.
Being a part of National Junior Honor Society would be a great opportunity! There is so much things I could learn about being a leader. Improving your skills as a leader is important, as well improving your skills as a person and that’s what NJHS is all about. Another reason why I should be selected is that I already exceed the requirements, I possess a selection of abilities that would make me useful to the organization. For example, I am experienced with computer publishing programs and able to create posters promoting NJHS.
Being proud of something can have many different meanings to people, but to me, it means to be honored and to be glad that something happened. I am proud about many things in my life but one thing I am extremely proud of is my induction into the NJHS. NJHS stands for National Junior Honor Society.
Due to my experiences and abilities as a student, I believe I can be considered a strong candidate for the National Honor Society as I will be able to contribute to society most effectively and reach my full potential in helping others. If I were to join the NHS, I would be given the opportunity to improve my perfomance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character, and also learn from others who are striving to do the same.
Being a Member of the National Honor Society will help me get into a college of my choice. No one in my family has attended college and my goal is to be the first one. NHS will have me be seen as a leader and a person who is serious about their future.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
It is with great honor to be considered among the students of my class to be a part of the National Honor Society. the National Honor Society (NHS) has been an organization that has displayed great interest to me, with new leadership skills and responsibilities to take upon. I believe that I hold the leadership skills, service, character, and academic excellence that is required to become a member of the National Honor Society.
The National Honor Society is a very prestigious organization that I would love to be a part of. It was an honor to be nominated as a candidate. I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I have always wanted to be a member of the National Honor Society. As I look back over the years and think of the times I have attended the ceremonies and saw all the awards the members received, I recall saying to myself “That’s going to be me one day.”. I asked my teachers about all the requirements that had to be met to be a National Honor Society member and I made it my main goal to meet each and every one.
School allows many opportunities to grow as a person, and show your personality. Within class I am always an active participant, I always add my input in discussion, and work to answers questions. I have always maintained good grades I was placed in advanced courses beginning in fourth grade and within all 3 years of highschool I have earned a weighted
School is something we all know and understand. Regardless of whether we wanted it or not, we have all passed through school. School is, first and foremost, a place designed for people to go and learn. It is a place to better yourself, to learn facts, discipline, to learn social and economic skills. But for all that school is intended for, people go for different reasons. Some are hardworking and academically minded, they go to learn, to set a good foundation for their future, with an aim of becoming successful and accomplished in their career. Others are carefree, going for the social side, to be popular, have lots of friends, and in the end just to have a good time. For others it can even be a place of safety, a place where they can get
Being nominated to be an active member in the National Honor Society is an accomplishment in itself. It shows that I am striving, and continuing to show my strengths on a daily basis. I have achieved the goal to maintain my grades while also being very active within our community. I have also strove to be the best possible person I can be, and that truly shows through my love of the game: basketball. I have been a member of the basketball team for three years. This team has taught me a lot about unity. I try to bring what I learn on the court to my everyday lifestyle. It has taught me how to work well with others, and solve conflicts when necessary. Being on the team has also shown me that you can’t go through life alone. I always try to be
Having explained the reason most children have become disheartened at the thought of school, I now turn my attention to the students who do realize school’s educational value. These are the students that will continue to prosper throughout their lives because they realize the extreme importance of education. There is a secret, yet not so secret, motivation behind their determination to exceed standards and expectations in school. The secret they withhold is their overwhelming desire to be successful in the future.
