Why Group Projects Are Good

Last year in seventh grade my math teacher, Mr. Krohn, put us in a group project. The project we had to do was to build a bridge out of popsicle sticks, and see how many textbooks it could hold without breaking. In this case working in a group project is better because others see the flaws you create and fix it when you would not notice it. An example of a flaw is when I thought only two parallel sides would hold up those heavy textbooks. When we observed it, we realized it would fall quickly because the weight would not have been distributed nicely.
