The main component I look for in college is their commitment to further my studies. I feel this college will provide an ingenious culture within the science field, therefore rendering myself with the building blocks necessary to later pursue the medical field. Not only does UNCW devote itself towards their student’s undergraduate years, but also by providing Professional pathways such as Pre-Medicine, students such as myself can go into Professional schools better prepared. In addition to my interest in the academics the school has to offer, I also marvel at the amount of extracurricular activities available to the student body. One student organization in particular is the Greek Life. When my mother attended this school, she was an avid member
I am involved in several clubs, such as Spanish club and HOSA, although I do not hold office in any of them, I try to serve as a leader and to use my intelligence to help the school. As a leader I am capable of using my potential to aid in inspiring others. I hope to prove myself to be a good example and guide for those who need help. As a new inclusion to NHS, I am committed to help my fellow students study and to do their best. I possess a variety of study and organization skills that I can pass on to other students. I am a open-minded and patient person, making it easy for me to take criticism willingly and accept recommendations thoughtfully. I can work well either individually or on a team and can Inspire positive attitudes and behaviors in others. I promise to utilize my leadership skills and work with other NHS members to achieve success for the school. With my characteristics, I will inspire new concepts and further develop the character of NHS. I plan to volunteer in events as much as possible, and can fill in for other people who can’t be in attendance. Whether I’m volunteering or helping a fellow student, I vow to act with honesty, integrity, diligence, and the best of my ability. With my skills and abilities, I Would be proud to step up and represent NHS with confidence. I am a great strategist and am able to
Throughout everyday tasks in the classroom, or outside of school, I step up and lead those who need to be led. I constantly find new opportunities to lead others and help the situation any way I can. Every summer the band has a marching band camp for a week straight that we must all attend. Being an experienced band member, I step up and assist all underclassmen and show then where to go and what they need to be doing. Instead of getting frustrated when giving the freshman directions, I am calm and collect and walk them step by step until they understand, something most leaders would not have time or patience for. With many plans to help others and lead within my community, I believe that I have what it takes to be a strong, and powerful leader for the National Honor Society.
While growing up I had the privilege of learning about farming and ranching while helping my dad and grandfather run the family ranch. I don’t remember considering this as a privilege at the time, but I find humor in how time changes our way of thinking.
In conclusion, I believe that I can offer a wealth of expertise and experience in contributing towards the continued development of a cohesive, dynamic and collaborative school that focuses on offering outstanding world class learning opportunities for all. I consider myself to be a good role model to students and staff alike and I am committed to leading by example. This, combined with my drive, infectious optimism and commitment to playing a full role within the school beyond those duties set out, make me a strong candidate for the post.
Throughout my whole life, I have always had the urge to motivate myself and other individuals as well. My determination to prevail in anything I do will allow me to accomplish great things for myself and the school as well and I know a school like the Academy of Enrichment and Advancement can give me opportunities to do so. As a student, I also believe I can benefit the school as well. I am a student that knows I can go on to do great things for the school such as helping my fellow peers or going on to win the school many awards. My qualities could help the school exceed limits of STEM-based education.
I intend to give back to the community by combining knowledge obtained from the study of Psychology with the leadership skills I have gained by working in a tutorial program into a wide scale program for underprivileged school children of my community.
Growing up in a society where there are so many opportunities, I had no problem figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. I have always enjoyed helping others in any way that I was able too. From babysitting, raking leaves, serving as a volunteer for a number of organizations, no matter how big or small the need, I have always found it gratifying to help others. I ultimately recognized that I had to pursue a career in something that would allow me to help others, while positively giving back to the community. The heavy influence of wanting to help others comes from my very own personal life experiences, which have greatly impacted my career choices. These experiences include being an adopted child, volunteering within my community, serving as a resident assistant and
I am hard working. For JSA this year, I spend countless hours ensuring that all three overnight conventions ran smoothly. On the chapter level, I spent hours finding transportation to and from one-day events and organizing club meetings. Second, I am an honest person. A leader needs to be honest to the people he or she is serving. Furthermore, I possess good communication skills. A leader must be able to communicate with the people around them. As the Young Democrats Vice President, I was in constant communication with our members, Democratic candidates, and the press. I truly believe that I possess all the qualities needed to be a fantastic leader. My peers have seen that I have leadership capabilities. As a result, I hold multiple leadership positions within my school and

It is my belief that anyone with a desire to change the world would be fortunate to work in education. By sharing my vision with others, and building upon my skills while seeking constant growth, I strive to take an approach to leadership that fosters an effective, nurturing educational environment for the entire school community. By creating this type of environment, as well as through embracing and enhancing my leadership strengths, it is my goal to contribute to society by inspiring people to become better not only as teachers and students, but as compassionate human beings.
Entering high school I only had one goal in mind it was be involved and fix all mistakes that were done my middle school year. I regard my schooling as a foundation for the career path that I have chosen. During my school days, I realized that I had a good mix of marketing aptitude, positive social traits and personal abilities required to excel in this field. One such realization came when I was elected as house captain and I got the opportunity to put into practice the qualities of leadership and being accountable. As a student my grades have been on an average of 80%, which is among the top 15 percentile of the school aggregate.
For the duration of my high school career, I have always made maintaining my GPA and achieving good grades a top priority. This can be seen in the fact that I am in the top twenty-five percent quartile of my graduating class, and my SAT scores. At the same time, I tried to focus my time beyond just education, but in community involvement. I have participated in numerous clubs and activities during high school; some I have not yet mentioned are powder-puff football, volunteering and fundraising for the class of 2017, and doing different types of community service throughout the years.
