I am a dedicated, focused student looking to push the boundaries of Engineering Physics with creative out of the box thinking. I have the drive to be successful and positively represent UBC Engineering Physics. I have a passion for physics and math which is why I believe this program is so appealing and a perfect choice. Having already started, run and sold a successful landscaping company, I have experience in entrepreneurship and have determined being an entrepreneur is something I want to pursue in the future. I believe Engineering Physics would give me the opportunity and breadth of knowledge to make my entrepreneurial vision a reality and allow me to find solutions to the issues that will impact the future of humanity. Being on UBC Supermileage
The main component I look for in college is their commitment to further my studies. I feel this college will provide an ingenious culture within the science field, therefore rendering myself with the building blocks necessary to later pursue the medical field. Not only does UNCW devote itself towards their student’s undergraduate years, but also by providing Professional pathways such as Pre-Medicine, students such as myself can go into Professional schools better prepared. In addition to my interest in the academics the school has to offer, I also marvel at the amount of extracurricular activities available to the student body. One student organization in particular is the Greek Life. When my mother attended this school, she was an avid member
An HBCU is a college/university that embeds the nature of power and black excellence; a place with surroundings that doesn’t force you, but makes you want to push yourself to become a better person inside and out, and throughout the community. Transferring would allow myself to be put in an atmosphere of continuous motivation and growth that I would feed off of my superiors and the people around me.
I told someone when I was younger that I wanted to cure people. 4 years ago, I told one of my teachers I wanted to find the best school that would allow me to do that. A year ago, I went to Wayne State and I found it, my major and my school. Being interested in science and math has been a major component in my studies and choosing a career path. Devoting time to helping and working with others doing volunteer work makes the decision a whole lot better. Majoring in Pharmacy is the right path and Wayne State University will give me the best chance at following that path.
The Brazosport College Career Fair has definitely inspired me to pursue a career in mechanical engineering. Before I attended this Career Fair I already had my mindset on pursuing an engineering degree, but this learning experience has closed the deal.
I would like to participate in the SEAP program because I am passionate about engineering. I am completely absorbed with learning everything and anything related to STEM studies. My love of engineering and science intensified during my high school years due to my favorite classes like AP Chemistry and Principles of Engineering. Chemistry is undoubtedly the most challenging class my school has to offer. Nevertheless, every topic peaks my interest.
and I said goodbye.” (Silverstein, 1969). To make it in the world you need to be tough and ready to work until the sun goes down. This scholarship would change my future entirely and would allow me to become the Mechanical Engineer that I would like to be.
The primary reason I am applying to Molloy College is my desire to earn the education and qualifications in order to provide more involved care for my patients at work. I have known for some time that I have always wanted to be a nurse. Therefore, in April 2007 I enrolled in a program to become a certified nurse’s aide and earned my New York state certification in July 2007. I began working immediately at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in November 2007; I also began working in a hospital starting April 2015. Being employed at both facilities is what led me to fall in love with a career in nursing, all while allowing me to gain a wonderful amount of experience caring for a diverse population as well as working with a diverse population of health care professionals.
One of many reasons that the Delta College program appeals to me is because it prepares students for real life experiences. I appreciate how the Delta College has small classes where students are more than just a number to their teachers, and receive individualized attention. Along with networking and internship opportunities that could help to to begin my career, it also excites me to know the possibility of earning my bachelor degree within three years. Another aspect of the Delta College that excites me is that students have peer mentors to help them navigate the first year of college, and for me, that would be tremendously helpful. I hope that being a part of this program will help me excel academically, and even socially
My decision to become a doctor did not come in a moment of blinding revelation, but as
I am determinant young woman with a BS degree in Physics from King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, on a quest to obtain a MS Physics degree and gain the knowledge, skills and expertise I needs to establish my career as an instructor and researcher within the field at one of Saudi Arabia’s universities. Furthermore, I aspire to continue my studies in the near future and earn a PhD degree in Physics, and armed with a Master’s degree from (name of University) I believe I will be fully equipped to do so.
With these thoughts in mind, I wanted to create new innovations that could change the world for the better as well as help us learn more about the world around us. Transferring into mechanical engineering, specifically, will allow me to obtain new knowledge and work in areas such as bio-medical and aerospace engineering and robotics. Ultimately, I endeavor to create new devices to help better health care globally and find more efficient ways to explore space and the seas. I want to transfer to meet professors and students who have interests in similar areas that will make me challenge myself, take courses and join activities where I can participate in many different projects that will allow me to tackle some of the world’s current problems. Transferring to an institution with passionate professors and courses like mechatronics,
...nd physics, as well as improving my analytical and programming skills before engaging in research will make this a more worthwhile experience.
I am seeking admission into the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, College of Engineering. I intend to major in nuclear engineering. Of all the engineering programs, nuclear engineering interests me the most. This field encompasses all forms of science and math, and the versatility of nuclear engineering yields several career options.
Engineers like challenges and I am one of them and I have a lot to learn, I am aware of the standards expected out of students at the University of Ottawa, knowing that I have been dedicated towards my ventures in the past; I believe I have the aptitude, resilience and resolution to meet the same. Thanks for your consideration I look forward for your positive reply.
I am applying for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Solid Mechanics to expand on my study of and experience with materials. I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Materials Science and Engineering as an undergraduate at UCLA. I now look forward to moving into graduate study in a field of engineering with a related, but different perspective. Materials Science and Engineering has allowed me to explore both materials and other fields within engineering, contributing to my strong interest in combining my study of Materials Science and Engineering with Mechanical Engineering. I have completed basic coursework in most areas of engineering, learning statics, thermodynamics, basic programming, and circuit design. This has provided a strong foundation to continue graduate study in other engineering disciplines. I
