According to public polling, Fifty-eight percent of American Adults now say they are dining out at least once a week. The biggest problem is trying to decide where to eat. The deciding factors are customer service, the quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. Between both Texas Roadhouse and Applebee's, the better restaurant is Texas Roadhouse.


When you walk into Texas Roadhouse you automatically smell the fresh rolls and greeted by a happy server. Servers are attentive and fast. The staff treats you like family; they make sure you are seated comfortably. They have seating for big parties and handicapped people. They ask you if you have been there before and give you good recommendations on food and drinks. When it is someone's birthday they sing the Texas Roadhouse birthday song, they make sure you leave with a smile on your face and a full stomach. Customers are given fresh baked bread with homemade whipped butter. All steaks are fresh and cooked to your liking. Everything is made to order. You can hear the sizzle on your steak as they bring it out to you. All the vegetable are fresh. The menu has a lot of variety there is steak, chicken, fish, seafood and vegetarian options. They have signature dishes like the blooming onion appetizer that many people are fond of. The portions are very big many times you have food left over to take home. Applebee's selection is the basic fried American food. Many of the foods offered are things people normally make at home. They do not have signature food that make you want to go there. The portions are extremely small. The food is cooked poorly, it is cold and undercooked. There are not many options for people with specific dietary needs. The food is processed and prepackaged.
