Evaluation of Longhorn Steakhouse Restaurant
I believe that when it comes to the best friendly service, appearance and especially food, Longhorn Steakhouse exceeds all expectations in every category. This family casual dining restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and is still thriving with a constant flow of happy customers. I have been there several times with my family and friends. I usually go for dinner, but Longhorn Steakhouse is also a great lunch place. I always leave with a full, and that is very satisfying for me.
The Theme of the Restaurant
One quality that is involved in a restaurant is the atmosphere and the positive energy it gives off. Considering the Western theme, they have the restaurant well decorated from the entrance, to the place where you sit. The walls are painted with tumbleweeds on them, with great lighting that allows you to see, and not go blind. The plates and silverware are very nice, as is the food that goes into them.

Let me say that it is exquisite! One reason why Longhorn Steakhouse is still going strong is because of their amazing culinary recipes and practices. They offer more than 1,200 of their own managers and personal chefs, from their own culinary institute. This shows that the chefs in the kitchen really know how to create a work of Western perfection! The T-bone steak, for example, is so juicy and delicious, it’s perfect! You also have the choice to get shrimp or chicken with it. There are many different dish choices, but this is the dish I consider my favorite! What’s also important is the variety of their food. There are a wide variety in all categories on the menu. Appetizers, soups and salads, and so much more, offer you an unforgettable taste that will keep you coming back. The quality of the nuggets at chick-fil-a is better than these other restaurants. Personally even when it comes down to the service received , chick-fil-a always supersedes the others. According to Odyssey , Chick-fil-A employees are some of the nicest people who will ever serve you. They always greet you and make sure you're taken care of. They're always willing to take your trash, refill your drinks, and have a conversation with you. When deciding upon a steakhouse to eat at there is many places to choose from. I always went to Longhorn steakhouse until I was introduced to Outback steakhouse. In my opinion, outback steakhouse is number one for many reasons but the top reason is for its outstanding quality food and service.
That would be the authentic taste and experience the restaurant provides its customers with. Whether diners choose to go out to celebrate or gather the family for a delicious meal, there is one place that they will certainly enjoy having it at, Carrabba’s Italian Grill. One key design principle of this establishment was of a casual sit-in dining restaurant opposed to being seated with a server and menus, a person must order from the front. This cuts down on the time it takes a family to wait, settle in, wait, and then order off or a menu. Also the restaurant is spacious and has a lot of seating allowing for a rush of people with no problem. Another key design that governed that effectiveness of this process what the way the kitchen was mostly exposed and in the front. If you were sitting close to the front you could watch your food be prepared. I’m sure the cooks feel the extra pressure being under the watchful eye of the people whom the food belongs to. Another design principle that governs the effectiveness of the process in Jason’s Deli is the menu itself. The menu is pretty diverse but the one common denominator is that the food is recognized as healthy and made from the freshest ingredients possible. Finally I would add the self-servicing drink station is another key design principle because this cuts down on the time it take to wait for a waitress for a drink refill (if this were a formal restaurant).
Dave Thomas an American restaurateur and a philanthropist once said, “It all comes back to the basic. Serve customers the best-tasting food at a good value in a clean, comfortable restaurant, and they'll keep coming back.” (thomas). Everyone can agree on Dave Thomas, but I have a couple more criteria to add to his idea of a great successful restaurant. If I go out to eat I might as well pick a place that, though may be expensive, has scrumptious food because why bother going to spend money on food you can make yourself? A great restaurant has to meet three of my criteria’s: the Décor and atmosphere, impeccable service and cleanliness, and most importantly the food.

To begin with, the prices there are very reasonable. Most meals are under $4.00, while shakes and drinks are ½ price during happy hour from 2pm-4pm weekdays only. On weekends you can enjoy 99-cent breakfast tacos and a “kids eat free” deal. The company continued to focus on quality of the food, while keeping Steak N’ Shake menu prices low. It isn’t a regular hamburger, which makes it more eager to taste. A meal is actually worth less than a burger itself. Their fries and shakes are commendable but I am so fascinated with burger that I would rather just order an extra single burger.

The buffalo chicken fits that description perfectly, it’s something I personally love eating. I would eat it every day if I could, I get it at most restaurants I go to if they serve it. The buffalo chicken wrap originated from buffalo first being served in a bar in 1939, ever since the wrap was served it’s been a hit ever since.
As much as I love the atmosphere the food is what seals the deal. At Mr. Sushi the food is not made until ordered. Making it fresh a requirement when making sushi, the fish is always delicious as well as the seasoned octopus which is one of my all-time favorites. There are a variety of rolls to choose from and the rolls are an exceptional size for an affordable price. When reading the reviews it turned out I was not the only one to agree with this.

I was very curious to see how different types of hotels differ in what they offer, how they offer it, and where they offer it. These services are extremely significant because they are what define a hotel. They define what type of guests they are targeting, what type of hotel they want to be perceived as, and what level of service they want to deliver to their guests. The impression of the hotel left on the guest is essential for the success of the hotel. The idea of adding amenities to keep up with competition or getting creative with services offered is not new. The Journal of Retail & Leisure Property mentioned that starting in the 1970’s, “hotels and resorts tried to gain market share from their competitors by increasing amenities in the guest rooms.” The services and amenities have always been a factor when deciding what approach to take when trying to find the most success. By comparing an average 2-3 star hotel with a 5-star hotel, I was able to gain a better understanding of the different services offered in hotels and the different expectations that certain guests have in their stay.
