Outback Steakhouse When deciding upon a steakhouse to eat at there is many places to choose from. I always went to Longhorn steakhouse until I was introduced to Outback steakhouse. In my opinion, outback steakhouse is number one for many reasons but the top reason is for its outstanding quality food and service. When you first walk into outback you will be greeted with the hostess opening the door for you with a welcoming smile of their face. After you check in there is nice seating areas for you while waiting on your table to open. The only downside is outback is normally pretty crowded, that is expected with a good restaurant. Outback offers call-ahead seating. I take advantage of call-ahead seating because I’ve never had to wait longer than fifteen minutes after my arrival, if I wouldn’t have used that service my wait time would have been longer up to an hour and a half. I feel that is a great feature to have considering how popular the restaurant is. If you don’t take advantage of the call-ahead seating option and end up having to wait you have the options of waiting at the ba...
Quality, price, and the working environment play a big role in the restaurant industry. In-N-Out outweighs Jack in the Box by far. I would encourage anyone to take their business to In-N-Out Burger over any other fast food restaurants. In- N-Out is clearly the better choice. Every customer will enjoy the great customer service and the delicious food.
The main consumer characteristic that Cracker Barrel Old Country Store sets their standards on is “Pleasing people”. (Etzel, Walker, Stanton. 2001 pg. 204) A review of the Cracker Barrel Old Country store states, “This restaurant has a combo of good food, good service, and atmosphere. The gift shop is trendy, and affords one a place to browse. Do your browsing after the meal, for service is fast and efficient. One dines among country antiques that serve as decor. The country plates are a delight, and one must try the daily specials. Don't order dessert if you're not hungry. The blackberry cobbler and lemon icebox pie are superb. This is home cooking with affordable prices and great atmosphere.” (http://stlouis.citysearch.com/profile/3855636) Cracker Barrel stores appeal to both the traveler and the local customer and have consistently been a consumer favorite. Cracker Barrel was ranked as the top family dining chain for the eleventh consecutive year in the 2000 Restaurants & Institutions magazine "Choice in Chains" annual customer survey. It was also named “Best Family Dining” restaurant by Restaurant & Institutions magazine for the tenth consecutive year. The R&I award is based on a national consumer survey that evaluates chains on seven separate attributes: food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and convenience. For 2000, Cracker Barrel scored highest among family dining establishments on every one of the attributes.

I believe that when it comes to the best friendly service, appearance and especially food, Longhorn Steakhouse exceeds all expectations in every category. This family casual dining restaurant has been around for over 30 years, and is still thriving with a constant flow of happy customers. I have been there several times with my family and friends. I usually go for dinner, but Longhorn Steakhouse is also a great lunch place. I always leave with a full, and that is very satisfying for me.
Chipotle is my favorite place to eat. As I am sure it is for other people. Chipotle is a fast food Mexican grill. They are most known for how big they make your burritos. Now it is fast food but it isn’t actually fast, they’re like a restaurant but without the wait. They serve all naturally raised meat and organic beans. So there food is pretty healthy and worth eating. The employees are always nice and it just a great place to eat over all. Chipotle is a great choice for a quick fast food stop because it gives great service, atmosphere, food and value. My experience there is always a good one.
Olive Garden always has a warm welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy dinner with your family. The waitresses and waiters are always respectful and care about your needs as a customer. On my many occasions to Olive Garden the service I get is always exceptional. I have a toddler and my servers were always very patient.
Costco is one of the good companies in the USA. The company has quality products that function in four different department's food, health care, employee discount cost, and some types of delivery services. The company actually sells fewer kinds of products than Wal-Mart, Giant and others, however, this means that they can keep their costs down this way. They are also able to keep costs down by charging customers a yearly fee, which allows Costco to have more brand loyalty because of this. So, Costco is a good option because it has provided better services for many years.
In 1945, Sam Walton opened his first variety store and in 1962, he opened his first Wal-Mart Discount City in Rogers, Arkansas. Now, Wal-Mart is expected to exceed “$200 billion a year in sales by 2002 (with current figures of) more than 100 million shoppers a week…(and as of 1999) it became the first (private-sector) company in the world to have more than one million employees.” Why? One reason is that Wal-Mart has continued “to lead the way in adopting cutting-edge technology to track how people shop, and to buy and deliver goods more efficiently and cheaply than any other rival.” Many examples exist throughout Wal-Mart’s history including its use of networks, satellite communication, UPC/barcode adoption and more. Much of the technology that was utilized helped Sam Walton more efficiently track what he originally noted on yellow legal pads. From the very beginning, he wanted to know what the customers purchased, what inventory was selling and what stock was not selling. Wal-Mart now “tracks on an almost instantaneous basis the ordering, shipment, and delivery of literally every item it sells, and that it requires its suppliers to hook into the system, enabling it to track most goods every step of the way from the time they’re made and packaged in the factories to when they’re carried out store doors by shoppers.” “Wal-Mart operates the world’s most powerful corporate computing system, with a capacity (as of late 1999) of more than 100 terabytes of data (A terabyte is 1,000 gigabytes, or roughly the equivalent of 250 million pages of text.).
The fast-food industry is changing everyday. There are new products being introduced in the market and new slogans being created. The companies in the fast-food industry will do their best to make the greater burger, and to make bigger and better fries.

Realistically, the process of First in first out, should always be practiced when it comes to any kind of service. Unfortunately that is not the case, which leads to a feeling of social injustice among customers. Social injustices is a feeling that an individual being slipped feels due to the fact that they have been waiting for service longer than the skipper
Fast Food Nation On December 1, 2016 I rented from Amazon prime, Fast Food Nation, a movie directed by Richard Linklater. Screenplay was written by Richard Linklater and the author of the book by the same name, Eric Schlosser. The film opens with Don Anderson, family man and the Marketing director of a Mickey’s Burgers learning that there is high count of E Coli bacteria in Mickey’s “Big One” burger.
McDonalds has always been a leader in the fast food industry. Through its dynamic market expansion, new products and special promotional strategies, it has succeeded in making a name for itself in the minds of the target customers. However, McDonald’s earnings has declined in the late 1990’s and 2000s. This is mainly due to a fiercely competitive industry and variety in customer tastes and preferences.
