There are many fast food places to choose from in the southwest region of the country. Two of the most common fast food restaurants are In-N-Out Burger and Jack in the Box. I have personally been employed at both of these establishments. The difference between the two is quality, price, and working environment.
One of the major differences between the two restaurants is the quality of their food and their services better provided to the customer. In-N-Out Burger is all 100% fresh product. The meat is never frozen, the lettuce is handpicked every day, and the potatoes are peeled and diced daily. The meat that In-N-Out receives is fresh and needs to be prepared in order for the restaurant to serve it. The morning crew arrives at 6am to do many things and one of those duties is to prepare the meat for the day. They have to shape, and season the meat before it can be pressed and cooked. The truck comes everyday with the calculated amount of sales. However, Jack in the Box receives frozen product. Calculated sales weekly and the trucks come only two days a week. The lettuce arrives at the store pre-cut and ready for use in the restaurant. Everything that comes off the truck just needs to be heated-up in order to serve. Another difference is the quality of the stores employees. In-N-Out Burger’s employees always have a positive attitude. They will always go out of their way to make sure all customers are 100% satisfied. The employees make sure that every visit is one to remember and that the customer will always come back for that amazing customer service. Conversely, Jack in the Box’s employees is quite different. ...forms and the company is forced to trust them to wash their work clothes before their next shift. Which in my time there, I have observed that most employees do not show up in clean uniforms. The employees can get away with a lot of hygiene-based issues. Jack in the Box only has one manager and then an assistant manager. The store is always low on people for daily-required shifts, making those days of work more difficult. Experiences show at both In-N-Out Burger and Jack in the Box how they do business is incomparable.
Quality, price, and the working environment play a big role in the restaurant industry. In-N-Out outweighs Jack in the Box by far. I would encourage anyone to take their business to In-N-Out Burger over any other fast food restaurants. In- N-Out is clearly the better choice. Every customer will enjoy the great customer service and the delicious food.

In-n-out mission statement is “Quality you can taste” which is primarily one of the reasons why they don’t want to franchise; they don’t want the quality to go down. In-n-out only has restaurants where their main distribution center is within 300 miles of the store because they don’t allow microwaves or ovens in the restaurant. Their main focus is the quality of the food and keeping it fresh with only the highest quality ingredients. In-n-out keep a very simple menu item which consists of burgers, fries, and milkshakes.

The quality of the nuggets at chick-fil-a is better than these other restaurants. Personally even when it comes down to the service received , chick-fil-a always supersedes the others. According to Odyssey , Chick-fil-A employees are some of the nicest people who will ever serve you. They always greet you and make sure you're taken care of. They're always willing to take your trash, refill your drinks, and have a conversation with you. They are quick with giving you your food and always make sure you have everything you need to thoroughly enjoy your meal. They stand out compared to other fast food employees and seem to be having the time of their lives while working (2017). There is nothing better than an amazing homemade hamburger from In-n-Out. Opened in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder, In-n-Out is a hamburger restaurant that at was established in Baldwin Park, California. Harry and Esther opened the hamburger shop saying that they wanted to have: “the freshest, highest quality food you can buy...friendly service in sparking clean environment”(“The History of In-n-Out”). It is said that In-n-Out was the first drive-thru experience for customers to have. After two years of serving people in their opinion the freshest food people could get from fast food the opened the second restaurant(“The History of In-n-Out”).After 28 years of being open, Harry Snyder died of lung cancer leaving his company to his, at the time, 24 year-old son Rich. Rich worked at the restaurant his whole live and refused to change anything his parents had established:”There is money to be made by doing those things, but you lose something and I don't want to lose what I was raised with all my live”(“The History of In-n-Out”). The only thing Rich ever changed was adding lemon lime soda to the menu, other than that there was no changes to the original menu. When deciding upon a steakhouse to eat at there is many places to choose from. I always went to Longhorn steakhouse until I was introduced to Outback steakhouse. In my opinion, outback steakhouse is number one for many reasons but the top reason is for its outstanding quality food and service.
Any Chipotle I have always gone to have always had good service. Their employees are great. There is never a sour moment when you ask for anything, they are always kind and welcoming. I am always greeted with a hello and a smile when I step up to order. Even if the employee serving you has had a bad day it never shows, you would never know. Despite the lines being basically out the door every time you come (which is the only downside to coming here), the wait time can give you a headache. It is worth it, because Chipotle for sure serves fast food; they usually have three employees working to serve the food. One to get what you order prepared, one to add what extras you and to finish packing it and one to cash you out. The menu is very easy to read and figure out what you want. They have all of the print on the menu in white and big font so it makes it simple for everyone to read. So there isn’t any trouble ordering what you want. They have many different options to choose from as well. You don’t always have to get the burrito.
