Recommended: Aspect of teamwork
The second semester with my team has shown growth and development individually and as a team. We have all shown development in certain areas, and have come together to produce high quality results. My team members have shown more dependability and focus on finishing assignments and wanting to be the best group.
Estefano Martinez has continued to be a very dependable member in our team, and has developed leadership qualities. He has become a trustworthy teammate, along with being a good friend. He has a difference about him, and he knows when it is time to preform and when we all need to come together. We always keep in contact with each other and with the team to make sure things are getting done on time. He took on hard tasks such as putting

The most enjoyable part of being in my team is that everyone is so dependable, and have not had any conflicts about finishing assigned work. I enjoy coming to class knowing my team members have done their best, and have finished any work that took ownership of. He haven’t had any situations that would cause use to lose points due to an assignment being late. We have had our challenges also. The financial section caused a lot of stress and the target market section wasn’t any easier. It was difficult on finding the people or department we would have to target. We eventually voted on the department, which we believed would be an easier task then to target thousands of students. We always came together for serious questions that needed answered, and always find time for meetings. We didn’t dramatically change our meetings, because we hadn’t seen any downside with the way we had held them. We come together to discuss the topics, and provide possible solutions to the problem. We would vote and see which solution best fit the situation. We would always end with asking if there was any questions we had not answered. If none came up, we would end the
By the end of the semester, the final project should be fully completed and completed to the best of the entire team’s ability. We should have been working together for enough time that we are able to understand each other’s thoughts and have no fear to voice our ideas and opinions. As a team, we should be nearing the adjourning stage, where we no longer need to work together because all of our work has been completed. This is most desirable stage because it means that as a team we have successfully accomplished everything that we had to do. In order to to achieve this stage of team development, there are some actions we can implement. One action we can do is creating a to do list of everything that needs to be done. If we create a list that tells us our exact tasks, we can check them off one by one until we have finished them all. Another action we can implement is putting someone in charge of the group. Having a leader who make sure the group is staying on task will help us get things done quicker. Using these actions, we will be able to reach the adjourning stage of team development and finish the project to the best of our
Now as I continue to finish the remainder of the school year, I want to keep the relationship of the team as strong as I can. I think the key to have a successful team is to have a good relationship with the players and have strong leadership. I hope that the younger players on the team can learn a lot from the leadership of others and me. Through the whole experience of being a leader, it has influenced me to keep striving for my goals no matter how hard I want to quit. I know that I will have to use the experience I had as a leader to be successful in
After reading through the article, Ten Principles of Good Interdisciplinary Team Work, I felt like I was given a better understanding of how a proper interdisciplinary team works together as a unit in order to execute quality care to people in different types of settings on a daily basis. The conclusion that I was able to come to, was that in order to have a successful IDT in the workplace, it is important to have a diverse group of people come together with a common goal in mind. With the world of healthcare constantly changing, and patient care increasing in complexity, having a group of people come together with different backgrounds, knowledge and opinions can brings ideas and solutions to the table that would greatly benefit the patient rather than if just one individual was focusing on how to solve the issue alone. With that being said, it is also important to have a leadership role in a
To start off on the right path, the team must understand what they are working towards. They must be committed to work hard in order to accomplish their goals. Each member should have expectations from everyone and themselves as part of the team.
In a team-oriented setting, everyone contributes to how well the group succeeds overall. You work with fellow members of the group to complete the work that needs to be done. Having the right people in the correct roles is an important factor in measuring the success of a team, where you are united with the other members to complete the main goals. Every group is made up of definite strengths and weaknesses. Our team's 3-5 major strengths necessary to work accordingly consist of Informer, Summarizer, Orienter, Piggy-Backer, and Encourager. One of our strengths as a team is that we get input from everyone involved. Every member of our team is a leader in some way. Part of being a good leader is knowing how important it is to receive the best ideas from each member of their team. We attend group meetings where we discuss any challenges, issues, and problems. At these meetings, we often exchange ideas or brainstorm new ones with each other and come up with the best and most creative team solutions as potential answers to those perceived problems.
1. Teamwork – Our international tax team comprise of several experienced professionals. At one hand, we have Professionals who are just starting their international tax compliance career, and there are several team members who have more than 4-5 years of international tax experience. Working with this variety of team members provides the great opportunity to learn new things, also provides an opportunity to see from a different perspective.
As I develop my team I am looking for the challenges and norms that the forming, storming and norming stages of team development will possibly experience. The focus of this theory is to become a more effective team. Following through with these stages we can become an effective team, however the challenges and norms we will face normally most teams go through. Starting out with forming my team we will face a few challenges as we begin orienting ourselves and becoming familiar with each other. With different personalities coming together there may be some biased perceptions that may cloud the members ' judgement of one another. A challenge that we face has to do with different aspects of each member 's personality, skills and setting the terms as to what needs to happen when making decisions as a team. This first stage is crucial because of the manner of getting to know who you will be working with and recognizing everyone 's goals to see if you all fit together; it is like building a puzzle. However excruciating this may sound, creative minds can sometimes make great decisions and other times can bump heads and unfortunately waste time when trying to make decisions to accomplish the work. The storming stage is where some conflict begins to arise in the team as we look for solutions. There will be confrontation as the team members will look at themselves as individuals versus
I always considered team work among our teams as our strength within the Information technology (IT) department in our organization. This attribute in addition to my teams system and business expertise, and dedication in developing custom software applications have resulted in several successful product launches.
In order to succeed, a group must have team members with strong, personal qualities. One of these qualities would be encouraging group members to stay on task and work more efficiently. During the “ramp lab”, which was our first formal lab, “my group members motivated me to work fast, since we were kind of behind compared to the other groups” (logbook 9/19). This trait pulled us through the lab and was the difference between a passing and failing grade. Another trait that is observed in a strong team member would be the ability to focus and stay on task without being distracted by outside influences. While working on the rubber band lab, “I kind of dr...
1. Discuss your experience participating in, or leading, a task group. If you have not participated in any task group, discuss any type of group participation. During the fall semester of 2016, I started my internship and ever since then, I have been attending weekly meeting.
Our group team "Diversity" is one of the best teams that I have had the opportunity to work with. I honestly give each team member ten out of ten including myself. Each one of us did equal parts and contributed fairly to all faucets of the team presentation. Our team absolutely adhered to our team charter. We all did this by not allowing anyone to miss any assignments, ensuring that we were all present, and helped each other to ensure that we will receive good grades. We even talked about our online submittals with one another if one of us noticed someone wasn’t turning in a report/assignment on time. I've worked with teams before and they haven't always been as smooth; therefore, the process couldn't have been any better!
I was given a team essay with a prompt that ask to analyze a conversation on diversity management, multiple points of views are to be analyzed thought out the team to form an ultimate conclusion. This essay is purely opinion based which mean no research must be conducted. Although this essay no research it is still important to draw an accurate opinion that can be presented effectively. To start, the instructor has given the essay prompt a month in advance to be worked with your team outside of class during that month. The first week, team members form their own opinion of diversity management and answer the questions accordingly, then during the second week the team forms together and we share are opinions and begin typing the
INTRODUCTION: Throughout the semester I volunteered at two different University of Miami Men’s tennis matches at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center. I volunteered for three hours on February 2, 2018 when University of Miami hosted Georgia Southern for their home opener. The second event I volunteered for a total of five hours on February 11, 2018. On this date, UM played against two different opponents.

Many times people forget that teamwork is a combination of the words TEAM and WORK. Which means it takes more than a combined group of people or a team, but it takes that and actions. Positivity, effective skills and effort from each group member. A good team member does their share of work in the group. equity and fairness are key in being a good team member also. A few other characteristics that help a group be successful are , positivity, complimenting other members, communication skills and fairness. By fairness I mean allowing everyone the chance to do something. This group project taught me the ability to be a team player. This is a skill needed to be successful in a group.
