You are now in 7th grade. I know that you know that six grade is way more different than 7th. In 7th grade we have 7 different classes with different teachers. In six grade you have six classes and you have 4-5 different teachers. You have options to have honors in 7th and 8th. If you pick honors you will be in different classes with other people who didn’t pick honors.
In ELA, you will have Mrs.Parent. Her class may be boring sometimes but Mrs.Parent is a cool and chill teacher. You will get to read The Outsiders. It’s a book. You will have to do 2 book reports. You now have Mrs.Neumeyer, I think Mrs.Neumeyer is way more cooler than Mrs.Smith. Mrs.Neumeyer will teach you 7th grade math. She will teach you about integers and the Greatest common factor. And turn in your binder checks. Make sure to do your Khan Academy.
In Social Studies. You might have Ms.Oertel or a different teacher, I don’t know. If you have Honors, you will have to write 3 biographies on 3 people that you are learning about in each trimester. When you are done with the 3 bios, you will do a culminating project. And the culminating project is about answering 5 questions and it is pretty confusing unless if you done an amazing job with the 3 bios. You will always have a after you finish with the subject you are learning about. Before the test she will give you a study packet and sometimes she will play a game like Brainy ball or 4 corners.
In science, you will have a quiz every thursday or friday. Mrs.Burkett will give you homework at monday and you turn the homework in on thursday. On Friday, you will have Labs. The Labs are pretty cool actually. You will dissect a sheep eye. This year I will dissect a sheep

The Outsiders identified the 60’s, often there would be violence between groups and often involving a group’s social class. For instance, the tensions between the Socs and Greasers is violent, and this will lead to Bob’s death, Johnny’s death, as well as many injuries throughout both gangs. When I got to 6th grade we did a lot more of switching classes which was sort of confusing, I got used to it pretty quickly. My 6th grade teacher was kinda mean, probably because I didn’t do that well on the English jingles. We started a day where we went into the library and read for a class period. I also started reading bigger books, because we needed more AR points, which are earned after reading the book and taking the test on it. I really liked the “Bone” series. Another series I liked was the “Percy Jackson” series.
It is where you get to dissect a squid. The materials you use are scissors and a cutting board to cut the squid open, and to learn about the different parts of the squid. The camp provides the scissors and the cutting board for you, so you won't need to bring them. Another class is Plastic and Pollution Lab. It is where you will learn how plastic and pollution affect the earth. You will also be discussing how you can make the earth a better place, and not use as much plastic. You will be in a group and one of you in the group will tell all of your three ideas of how you can help the earth. You will have an amazing time in the classes at Emerald Bay. Also we will have Morning Devotions were we have a time to talk about God. All the classes are fantastic, and I hope you will enjoy them all.
Good morning teachers, faculty, administrators, family, friends, and of course students. It is a great privilege to be standing here today and representing our class on our eighth grade Class Day. Can you believe it? Four years ago, most of us walked into this school as nervous as we were the first day of school. We were the tiny fifth graders, the youngest students in this middle school, not knowing where anything was and how to navigate the school. Now, those same four years later, we’re leaving this school behind to a whole new school being just as nervous as we were when we first arrived. It has been a long four years as well as a short four years. Long because of all the tests, quizzes, finals, and projects, but short because of the lifelong friendships, the lasting memories, and the truly interesting and amazing things we learned in-between. The Abington Heights Middle School is definitely a welcoming, fun, memorable, and great school that I will never forget. These four years spent with these wonderful classmates has been an extraordinary journey with many cherishable memories.
Trying new things and (except when it comes to spinach and zucchini). At Phillips Academy, I will have the opportunity to try what I wouldn’t have the chance to at Andover High School. For example, I, for some reason, have a desire to learn Russian. The language, with the different alphabet, seems like a puzzle, and my sister would be the first to say how much I love solving puzzles and riddles when I get the chance. Furthermore, I love helping people. During the last period of school on Mondays and Thursdays, I go to gym class
Don’t be embarrassed when you fall down the stairs because we all have done that. Don’t be scared or nervous about the bell, tardies or getting to your classes on time. The teachers are really nice and will help you with homework and finding your classes. Mrs. Daniels was my favorite teacher in 6th grade she helps you with homework and getting to your class on time.
That year I had Ms Cawley. I also had Mrs. Bluavelt, and Mr. OConner. He was my student teacher and Mrs. Bluavelt helped out. I loved first grade because we got to go to Allaire Park. I love it there. Also, in third gradewe got to be (for the first time ever) we got to be older buddies. I am not toatly sure but I think that my buddies in third grade were Mr. Scarpones class. Mabey not. Any way one fun thing that we did in third grade was the invention convention were we could make our own invention and right about it or right about an already invented invention. I did the ipod touch because I thought they were really cool. One other project that we did in third grade is we made a diarama of Indians. It was really fun. I loved third grade. One thin I loved about it was that you felt that you ruled the school becasue you were in the last 3
On a typical school I would wake up at 6:30 am the I would get dressed, eat breakfast, brush my teeth. The at 7:2o I go outside and wait for my bus then at 7:23 I get on the bus, and I ride the bus to school get off the bus and sit in the hallway until my friends come or until the bell rings. Then I get my stuff out of my backpack and open my locker the put my backpack in my locker the I close my locker. After I go to my first period which is english. During bulldog time I go talk to my friends and we help each other if one person didn’t do their homework. After when the bell rings it means that class has started. During english I read a book or if she has a lesson then if we have work I do it while she is talking so I don’t have homework.
There will be classes to go to. First is elementary school. This is where they learn the basic words in the english language. They learn how to be a good child and follow the rules. They usually stay in one class all day. Elementary schools usually go up through fifth grade. Then the fifth graders decide where to go to middle school and graduate elementary school. Next comes middle school. This is where things get a little bit more complicated. You usually move to about 6 different classes per day. The teachers start pushing the kids. They are preparing the kids for high school. All middle schools go up through eighth grade.
The reason I say it’s going to be scary is because, going back to school can be scary.I’m going to meet new teachers and new classmates.I am going to spend a whole year with them.So I might as well start knowing each one of them with the time I got.I’m probably might even have a new principle, a secong helping principle, and a new student counciler, but I might even
My grade should go up and I should pass the 7th grade. Passing the 7th grade with a high score is very important for high school. My grade should go up and I should pass the 7th grade because I have all my assignments and showed mastery in many learning targets
Let me give you a little advice…..7th grade probably won’t be the best grade at this school, but I promise you Ms. Booker will try her best to make it well. Although this class isn’t easy so the best thing to do is listen to her very carefully. Here’s something you really have to take into consideration, when she tells you to read something PLEASE read because she might hit you with a VERY hard pop-quiz. Plus she reads the online summaries and purposely makes questions that you can only find answers to in the book. I wish I would’ve followed the advice I gave to you, because once I made a 38 on one of those quizzes and believe it or not, I’m actually a VERY smart. Another thing to make sure you do is turn your work in on time. Sometimes on certain projects you can receive points by simply turning it in on time!
Then, the next hardest thing is gym. In middle school we had gym every other day all year. In High school students have gym every day for one semester. Students only had to run the mile and pacers twice a year. In high school students have to run the mile and pacer every Wednesday. Students also get to play more interactive sports. Students also get to go outside more often. In most
