Letter To Booker Essay

Dear “Lucky” student,

Hi, I’ve kept a high B average this year in Ms. Booker’s class. Things you do in this class is so new that I didn’t even know half this stuff existed and I’ve always been in all honors classes. She tries her best to make sure everything she tells you are embedded in your brain. That is why she gives you so much work and expects nothing but the best from you. Once you get the hang of it her class isn’t as hard, but as the year goes by she gives you more challenging work.

Let me give you a little advice…..7th grade probably won’t be the best grade at this school, but I promise you Ms. Booker will try her best to make it well. Although this class isn’t easy so the best thing to do is listen to her very carefully. Here’s something you really have to take into consideration, when she tells you to read something PLEASE read because she might hit you with a VERY hard pop-quiz. Plus she reads the online summaries and purposely makes questions that you can only find answers to in the book. I wish I would’ve followed the advice I gave to you, because once I made a 38 on one of those quizzes and believe it or not, I’m actually a VERY smart. Another thing to make sure you do is turn your work in on time. Sometimes on certain projects you can receive points by simply turning it in on time!

Booker is pretty laid back and it takes a lot to really make her angry. Although I would try my best if I were you to not agitate her. One time I took her gummy bears and she popped me. We both laughed then she made me give them back. Anyways, you will learn so much in this class that your brain will probably explode. She even gives us vocabulary like were tiny ignorant kids. Sometimes if you use her vocabulary words in sentences when you talk to her she gives you candy. Do you know what a gerund is?
