My grade should go up and I should pass the 7th grade. Passing the 7th grade with a high score is very important for high school. My grade should go up and I should pass the 7th grade because I have all my assignments and showed mastery in many learning targets I, Maryam Choudhury have all 32 of my assignments. Although I do not physically have them in my possession, they are turned in for revisions or to be graded. Me having all 32 assignments shows much responsibility and organization. In the beginning of this six week cycle I was missing six assignments, but I managed to pull it together and now have all my assignments. On the other hand, many other student are missing a handful of assignments and were not able to pull it together. Throughout
As many people have told me before, it is a very different ballgame than middle school’s easy going years. There is much more work, the classes are harder, and the environment is completely different. Many people’s grades may slip and they may cower in fear at the barrage of assignments they receive class after class. Unlike other people, I am confident in my ability to excel at all classes and to sustain exemplary grades. Therefore, while many are trembling in fear at the prodigious assignments and work is bombarding them from all angles, I will be at ease, knowing that whatever obstacle is thrown my way, I will conquer it and be its own
People say high school is supposed to be the golden years of your life. I don’t know what else in life is to come; however, my philosophy is to live in the moment and make the life you’re living in the present worthwhile into the future, not only for you but for those who surround you. I live my life participating in our community and getting involved in our school. The activities, and the people I’ve formed relationships with, are what have formed me into the person I have become today. The person I am today is not perfect, but I have learned from the mistakes I’ve made. I think the sense of maturity I have developed throughout my life has given me the determination to be the best person I can be. That being said, I would love to be inducted into the National Honor Society and not only represent our school, but represent our generation to the community not as a “selfie” generation but as a generation, with great potential.
When the year comes that I graduate from high school comes, I will need to have finish high school with a GPA of 3.0 or higher as well as a high school diploma. I will keep my grades up by studying, asking the Professor, using the library, and possibly getting a tutor. I will need to stay placid, motivated, and continue to strive for
While working through this past year of school my future has become my top priority. I always make sure that I work hard, that I am keeping my grades high, looking into activities to better my academic career, as well as being the best person
My mission statement for 8th grade is to pass and succeed with a 3.75 to a 4.00 GPA. I have my family that can give me love and inspiration. My family has taught me so many things to become a hard worker at school.
As a seventh grade student, I took a science course because it was required. At first I was scared about how well I would do and if I would get a good grade throughout the year. When the school year started, I met my teacher and he seemed really nice and he turned out to be an awesome teacher. I excelled in my science seven class and overthrew my fear of getting poor grades. My seventh grade year was the year I determined what I wanted to go to college for and that would be life science education. As I moved up the scale throughout high school I became a better student, a better athlete, and a better leader. I had the support of my family, my teachers and my friends. This helped me achieve the major goals I had set out for myself.
The Common Core Standards of Mississippi is an excellent way to educate Students in today’s society. This new way of education is believed to be the best method of teaching our young people the skills they will need to know to be successful as they enter into college or the workforce. The Common Core Standard seeks to establish consistent education across the United States.
Common Core is a controversial issue concerning many different kinds of people. Teachers are concerned because they feel like the new standards implemented restrict their abilities to create a lesson that fits their specific student’s needs. Students are concerned because of the increased amount of testing associated with Common Core. Parents are concerned because they have no say in what their children learn. Lastly, the government is concerned because of the state our country is in education wise and how far behind we are falling.
Grades are one of the most important factors of my high school career. My grade point average and my SAT's determine what college I go to. They determine my effort at high school. I must do whatever possible to keep my grade point average above 3.0. My GPA currently is ok, but if I could increase it by just .2 I would be much better off. Grades are very crucial for getting acceptance to college. They are one of the major things that colleges look at to accept you (or so I have been told). So I will keep pushing myself so that my grades will increase this year, making it possible for me to hopefully enter a better school then I can right now.
I am immensely satisfied with the grades that I earned during my high school career. Getting good grades has never been too much of a struggle for me as I am raised by parents who are both teachers and encourage me to excel in the classroom everyday. I comprehend quickly and enjoy learning as it will make my future brighter. There have been times when I spent countless weekends doing all of my homework instead of enjoying it with friends, but those times have been worth it because my grade point average is a 4.22. I have learned something from every class that I have taken, whether is was a mathematical formula in calculus or how to take care of residents in nursing homes for my SNA class. All of this knowledge will help grow
The bell rings; you’re sitting in a hard plastic chair, looking up at the teacher, she is passing back your latest test. Carefully, she sets it upside down on your cold wooden desk, and shakes her head. Carefully you reach out and snatch the paper; in red ink, written enormously, was the letter E. The only thought that raced through your mind was “I should have done my homework.” The homework given to students is helpful and effective for learning and developing knowledge, which aids the students to score better on tests. Learning to work independently is another great benefit of doing your homework as. However, some people view it as stressful.
being in school everyday will make my future better and I will be grateful for it.
This year I set myself three Everest goals so I could become a better student. All three of the goals involve how I will work my hardest to become a better student and person. First, I will exceed as a 7th grader to become a better student, by studying for tests and making sure to pay attention to my teacher. Second, I will become a better person as a friend and a student, by caring about my friends and my teachers than just about myself. Finally, I will work to learn subjects I could use for my future, I will exceed this by listening to my teacher and taking notes on what I learn. Throughout this year I will try my hardest to exceed these goals that I have set for myself. Every day I will work harder and harder to become a better person, as a student and as a friend!
Students spend hours doing it, teachers spend hours checking it. Homework is sometimes a burden to teachers and students but still it is necessary. Some people doubt homework's effectiveness, but teachers and researchers agree homework is essential. Homework helps students get better grades in school.
Homework is achieved at higher levels, causing timing to increase on such task also the ability to learn. Children now at this rate have not only homework to focus on but also scholarships, colleges, extra curriculum activities, and SAT/ACT. The tole can cause stress and anxiety to the student but their work ethics learned through completing given homework can cause the student mindset to enhance short-term retention, understand the content, and construct thinking. But one may ask themselves, how can a single student that has twenty-four hours in the day as any other normal person have the ability to overcome the tremendous task set forth on their plate. Educators suggests that students that has these different tasks in their lives should break down all the requirements and get themselves an organized plan. A organized plan can create a tremendous and helpful insight that balances the students life out and makes it less stressful. The following is a few tips to getting the job done with a considerable outcome. First step, which is obvious, is to take care of yourself that includes getting enough rest and eating well. Secondly is to get a planner or organizational board that shows what assignments or plans the person has to do for the week or month."Managing materials is one of the three key categories of study skills that contribute to students ' ability to organize, remember and apply their knowledge
