High school is a lot like a marathon. Students start out at the beginning and when the whistle blows runners are on their way. Just like high school it's the beginning and the end. Students start off 9th grade just starting to become an adult it is the beginning. And as you get into 10th, 11th, and 12th grade you grow slowly, and after school has taught you everything, if you decided to take that opportunity they send you into the real world. Here are some of the biggest differences from middle school to High school for most students anyway.
First thing that is more difficult in high school then middle school is how much more homework students get. In middle school students did not get as much as they do in High school. For example, in math class in middle school students did not get homework everyday, but in high school kids get homework almost every single day, as students go along further into 9th grade they start to get used to all of the homework they will get.
Then, the next hardest thing is gym. In middle school we had gym every other day all year. In High school students have gym every day for one semester. Students only had to run the mile and pacers twice a year. In high school students have to run the mile and pacer every Wednesday. Students also get to play more interactive sports. At the beginning of the year it was quite rough for some students had a lot of trouble getting all of the homework done, and then still have time for themselves. Some students grades dropped dramatically, but as time went on students started to get used to it and get there homework done and still even have time for themselves and family. Which most students think that is a good skill to learn and to have as an adult. In real life you have to balance your job and your home life where they may have a family of there
