School was, is, and will be so much fun. I say this because every year I have amazing teachers and fun field trips and cool projects. I have been in school for six years now and every year school is amazing and the 3 years I have of middle school still to come and the 4 years of high school still to come and over 4 years of college still to come will all be amazing. Overall my thoughts about school are in the middle. I say this because I like school because we do fun things but school is also like school is for everyone. I don’t like school because of all of the tests and having to go there five days a week, one time on a Saturday. Overall though I think school is okay.
My first year of school was pre k or preschool. I loved preschool. Why?

Because I got to pick my first day of school my last day of school and what days I wanted to go. My first day of school was the first day of school as my sister who was in second grade then and I had the same last day of school as them also. The school that I went to was The Honeytree. My preschool teacher was Mrs. Karen and the principal of the school was my neighbor. I and my family sort of took advantage of being able to pick when you go to school because every Tuesday I would take off of school and spend the day at my Mimis. It was so fun. My friends from preschool ( that I can remember) were Rylee and Ella Kenny, Kayla Michalis, and Riley Newets. Some field trips that I remember going on were that sometimes we would take a walk around the town and then sit by a stream on benches and play games. Overall, I had an amazing time in preschool. My next year was my first year at Nellie Bennett. It was Kindergarten. I kindergarten my teacher was Mr. Need. In kindergarten, I was friends with the same people but that year I met Isabel and we became friends. The field trips that we went on in kindergarten were, we went to the park and played games then we went to the library and got our very own library cards. Another field trip that we went on was that we went to see the Play the little engine that could. It was fun. Some things that I remember about Mr.Need is that h was loud and energetic and that he loved cheese-its! Some things that I liked about Kindergarten were that everyone got to be the star of the week for one week and we had to make a poster to bring in and show the class. I still have my poster! One of the shows that we put on in kindergarten was the arbor day show where we put a show on for our parents and then planted a tree. I loved kindergarten because it was my first year at Nellie Bennett. My next year at Nellie Bennett was first grade.
I loved first grade because I had Mrs. Miller and she made it so much fun. The only friends that I can remember from first grade were Isabel and Leah. all had Mrs. Miller. Our field trip that year was going to Jenkinson's Aquarium and then eating lunch outside on the boardwalk. One show that we put on was the Indian show were we dressed up like Indians and went on the stage and spoke and sang. On field Day for this year, we were the Millers Munchkins. Field day was so much fun because we did so many activities. What was also really fun was after field day when it was me and two other people with Mrs. Miller all alone. We watched a movie and relaxed. First grade was a blast! I had so so so so so much fun in second grade. What made it so amazing was Mrs. Schaller! She was my teacher that year. Oddly enough my older sister and younger sister all had Mrs. Schaller as well. Our field trip in second grade was Longstreet farm where we got to churn butter and look at animals. My friend that year were Isabel, Ava, and Sarah Sulzer. Some shows that we did were the Rock show where we all brought in a cool rock and the parents came to see them. Also, spelling was really fun because we did shving cream spelling and cheese it spelling. I loved first grade and Mrs. …show more content…
Schaller. My next year was tird grade.
That year I had Ms Cawley. I also had Mrs. Bluavelt, and Mr. OConner. He was my student teacher and Mrs. Bluavelt helped out. I loved first grade because we got to go to Allaire Park. I love it there. Also, in third gradewe got to be (for the first time ever) we got to be older buddies. I am not toatly sure but I think that my buddies in third grade were Mr. Scarpones class. Mabey not. Any way one fun thing that we did in third grade was the invention convention were we could make our own invention and right about it or right about an already invented invention. I did the ipod touch because I thought they were really cool. One other project that we did in third grade is we made a diarama of Indians. It was really fun. I loved third grade. One thin I loved about it was that you felt that you ruled the school becasue you were in the last 3
grades! My next year was fourth grade. Well obviosly it was but I loved my fourth grade year. Mstly because I had Mrs. McHugh. We had so much fun then. Our field trip was to Poricy Park were we had so much fun by the pond. Also, we had wax musem were I dressed up as Amelia Earhart. Then there was the Patriots vs. Loyalists debate. I was on the Patriots side. My friends that year were Gabby, Caity, Jordan, Morgan, and Molly. To finish of the year on the last day of school we had an outside party were we had a water baloon toss. Iloved my fourth grade year and all of my friends and teachers that year! Finallly I oficialy rule the school. The year I have been waiting for, Fifth grade! I had so much fun and I will have even more fun in the last days of fifth grade. My friends this year are Ava, Isabel, Leah, Jordan, Morgan, Molly, Ella, Ella, and Kayla. During the year we did stem challlanges, make or space challenges, and project adventure. These were all interactive, fun things were you get to use your mind to solve and build things. My teachers this year are Mrs Rodberg, Mrs.Trulby, Mrs. Kobesky, and Mrs. Devlin. They are all amazing. Some of the things that we did this year were Creative Experience Dance, First day of school, LEAD, adopt a pilot, and chorus and band. All of these things made my fifth grade year so special. Iloved all of the things that we did this year and I am sad to be leaving. Fifth grade was my favorite year! I had so much fun and will still have more fun to come. As you can see, all of my seven years of school have been amazing. I loved Nellie Bennett. I loved school. All of my teachers were amazing and because of them, it made school fun to go to!
As I carry on my studies in Elementary Education, The field experience assignment has been a learning and growing experience for me. This semester I did five hours in a physical education class and during my experience I learned a lot. As I spoke to the Physical Education teacher Ms. Hines, she informed me that this school year was a tough year for her. From all her classes she had two classes were a couple of kids who had disabilities and the rest of the students were only Spanish speakers. The teacher only spoke English, which caused some difficulties describing her lesson of the day to her students.
Some people may say that middle school was the worst years of their life, but in my case middle school was the best years of my life. It changed me, It made me a better person then who I was before. I am wiser, smarter, stronger, and overall just better. So if any elementary kids were
I had a good year in first grade. I became the best artist in the class. I started getting better at English. My first word was “bathroom.” I made two friends Michelle Sherman and Karen Calle. After that I started feeling better and actually liking this school. Everything felt better and worked out great!
School is something we all know and understand. Regardless of whether we wanted it or not, we have all passed through school. School is, first and foremost, a place designed for people to go and learn. It is a place to better yourself, to learn facts, discipline, to learn social and economic skills. But for all that school is intended for, people go for different reasons. Some are hardworking and academically minded, they go to learn, to set a good foundation for their future, with an aim of becoming successful and accomplished in their career. Others are carefree, going for the social side, to be popular, have lots of friends, and in the end just to have a good time. For others it can even be a place of safety, a place where they can get
There are positions outfield, infield, and catcher and pitcher. There are three positions outfield and four positions infield. Outfield the positions are left, center, and right. Infield positions are first, second, shortstop, and third, but there’s also pitcher and catcher where they aren’t at bases. Although softball seems like an easy sport that doesn’t take much knowledge, positions in softball each have their own rules and plays.
My favorite class during seventh grade was English, only because my teacher did not make me do too much writing. Towards the end of the year, she made the class write a book and it was really a fun assignment. I had to write a few short texts, ranging from poems to a short story. The short story was my favorite to write, as I got to write about a fun trip I took with my family. I also had to create illustrations for my writings, which made it easier for me and others to understand. Images helped me understand what the writings were to be about, it helped me see what was to happen without actually reading the
Section E was the best group and we enjoyed every class together. I had Mrs. Zambetti. Mrs. Prisco, Mr. Perrotti, Mr. Justave, and Mrs. Rosiak who were all the most wonderful teachers. I’ll never forget Egypt Day when Shealyn and I made an amazing diorama of the Nile River, dressed up as Egyptians in togas, and put eyeliner on all the girls, even Dominick who could not get it off and had to keep it on for the rest of the day. It was so funny! Mediterranean Day was also very fun as we ate all types of Mediterranean foods such as humus, pita bread, grapes, baklava, and more. Of course our Athens vs. Sparta field day competition was full of fun as we raced each other around the pond and played various games. Sixth grade was a yet another great year and one that I really
Now Mrs. Trotter is my favorite but that’s beside the point... I loved school and I met all of my friends. This was truly the year that started my life. This was the year that I learned math, reading, science, social studies, and all of these subjects. School was something that I looked forward to and I loved learning all sorts of things and then when I got home, bragging to my parents about how smart I was. I had a habit of writing everything I heard or said on the air with my fingers… My teacher said it was a great habit to have , but my sister thought different. Overall, this was one of the best years of my life and I loved
When the last day of 1st grade came in May I was so excited with anticipation for 2nd grade because I knew that I wasn't going to be the only one there. All of my 1st-grade friends would come along with me to 2nd grade. I was just so excited for 2nd grade to come in the Fall.
Middle school felt like a chance to make more friends I went to okemah middle school then to paden then back to okemah I was gone for a whole year had some fun and made some good memories ar paden but it just wasn't for me when I got back to okemah everybody I was friends with or talked to say they missed me but the main people I hung around and was friends with was Ryan, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Shawna, Izayah and Adam.
In eighth grade, the amazing experiences are far more numerous than the regretful moments. First in eighth grade I believe the best part was the teachers. They have all taught me so much, and I will certainly use what they have equipped me with in high school. They all deserve so much for teaching the "future of the world." I am sur...
I loved how he gave everyone in our homeroom nicknames, for instance, mine was “Higgy-Baby”. To this day I do not know how he came up with a name like that, but I know that while I was in his classroom, I was never called just Alyssa. While I learned many new and interesting things in his science class, I remember more of the life lessons that he taught during his homeroom. He was one of the teachers that was there for me when life got rough, he looked out for me during and outside of class. For me, knowing that I had him keeping an eye out for me made me feel safer going to school again.
Children’s literature was by far my favorite. Each week we had to read a new book and answer questions about it through a quiz. Then my teacher had us sign up to volunteer for the Virginia Children’s Book Festival. I really enjoyed going to different lectures where authors would talk about their books. It was really inspiring to meet the authors and hear their thought process. That same semester, I took a grammar class. We didn’t do that much reading and the teacher was disorganized. Her quizzes and tests had a lot of typo’s and we never used our textbooks. Right now, I am taking English 400 and my teacher has made me appreciate writing more. She realizes that we all have a lot of hard classes so before we start a writing assignment she has us talk and discuss what we will be writing about, she has us do fun activities around campus to help us stay engaged in the class.
The night before my first day of school in fourth grade was literally my first night before school. I had been homeschooled my entire life and was excited to be able to finally see what school was like. My teacher was Mrs. Holmes, she was one of the nicest teachers I have ever had. This was also the year that I started playing sports. I took Softball, Basketball, and Dance. My best friends came to be Brinlee, Baylee, Oaklee, Megan, Myka, and Lindsey. These were my best friends all through elementary.
I remember my fourth grade year as if it were yesterday. My homeroom teacher, Mr.
