Owen Andeline’s Autobiography One time, I heard a Quote “ Never regret something that made you smile” . I was born smiling. Or at least my mother said… I was born in January Six, 2006, which is also the birthday of my grandmother ( not 2006 ), in Mountain Home, Arkansas. I was born in a hospital at midnight. It was very cold when I came to and my mother said I was smiling… That’s probably why I love the cold. I was a second child from my Mother, Monica Andeline (now Raine)... and Erin Andeline, my Father. My mother was firm about my name being Owen… and I’m glad, because I can’t imagine being named anything different. When I turned three, I started playing my favorite sport to this day, Soccer! I love soccer because it gives me this feeling of excitement and I just love winning with all of my friends on the field. I loved soccer and I looked forward to it every day. I met a lot of my friends in soccer and it is one of the reasons that I started to become an athletic person. Soccer is still my favorite sport and I love it. I am planning to still play soccer up to the varsity team. …show more content…
Now Mrs. Trotter is my favorite but that’s beside the point... I loved school and I met all of my friends. This was truly the year that started my life. This was the year that I learned math, reading, science, social studies, and all of these subjects. School was something that I looked forward to and I loved learning all sorts of things and then when I got home, bragging to my parents about how smart I was. I had a habit of writing everything I heard or said on the air with my fingers… My teacher said it was a great habit to have , but my sister thought different. Overall, this was one of the best years of my life and I loved
I’ve always been the type of person that truly enjoys athletics and have participated in nearly all sports offered to me. I started playing sports in elementary with club softball and basketball. As I entered my middle and high school years I was able to add the school sanctioned sports to my list of activities. This afforded me the opportunity of competing in volleyball, basketball, golf, track and softball. The camaraderie and life lessons of sports seemed invaluable to me.
I had a good year in first grade. I became the best artist in the class. I started getting better at English. My first word was “bathroom.” I made two friends Michelle Sherman and Karen Calle. After that I started feeling better and actually liking this school. Everything felt better and worked out great!
As I was growing up, it was my dream to become a famous soccer player. Driven by this motivation, I started playing soccer when I was five years old. Since then I had played for my elementary, middle, and high school team until I joined college and focused on my study.
I have always been involved in sports in some way or another. I was team captain in every sport imaginable in elementary school. Junior high I continued to be involved in sports, but it wasn't until high school started that I really got into it. I played soccer, softball and basketball at Rogers High School. I particularly loved soccer. Just playing it gave me a rush I had never felt before. Also knowing that this sport took a lot of hard work and dedication gave me a sense of satisfaction, because I knew that I put everything I had into it. Putting a lot of dedication and hard work into something may prove to be useful in the future.
I would switch back and forth between loving school and despising it. Often times I would be bored by the school work that was too easily completed. This was changed by a once a week class that was named Individualized Learning Opportunities (ILO). This class gave me a reason to enjoy school. The teacher Mrs. Krebbs was the most amazing person that I had ever known. She would let us play with glue and be messy and give us the attention we often lacked from our other teachers. During this time is when I made my first long time friend, Alex. I met Alex when I was in second grade. She was my first best friend and would remain in that position until we both moved away for college and lost touch. She always brought out my best qualities when we were
I love soccer and nothing will stop me from playing it as long as my legs are still going. Yes, I’m a little rusty but it’s nothing like running out there with the wind, feeling the breeze blowing through your hair, and enjoying that moment with your teammates or love ones. Especially, you feel the moment of all your adrenaline rushes inside you and you don’t want stop playing you just want keep on going. It feels
I grew up watching my brother trapshoot, knowing that one day it would be my turn too. I had gotten more interested in the sport as I got older in age. By the time I was 12-13 years old and in 7th grade I had to make a hard choice between Trapshooting or Soccer. I
Soccer has always been a part of my life since I was four years old, it has also been in my family for a very long time. I started playing soccer at the age of four years old. Throughout my life, I graduate from recreational soccer to playing travel soccer in fifth grade. From fifth grade to eleventh grade, I spent four or five days a week throughout the year playing and practicing soccer. I would endure two hour practices multiple times a week. I would suffer through hours of traveling for games and tournaments on the weekends.
Should parents let their kids play soccer because it’s simple sport to learn and play, teaches teamwork, Social skills. Soccer is a perfect blend of individual activity and team plan. I play soccer because I grew up in Monterrey, Nuevo leon and there everyone I knew played soccer including my dad, cousins, and my friends. Seeing them play grew my interest in the sport. Many of these relationships have stuck since i was about a kid. These relationships have shaped me as a person because it has influenced my whole life by allowing me to develope and grow as a person.
I enjoyed all aspects of school. I liked the teachers, the curriculum, and even the other students ("Emily Dickinson," Poetry Foundation). Although I enjoyed my time there, I left school, due to my fragile emotional state and my sick mother. I eventually became her primary caretaker. I stayed at the Homestead and took care of her until her death in 1882. My sister and I never
Lastly, soccer is always going to be an amazing sport that I love to play because it is always fun when everyone plays by the rules and no one gets hurt while playing. As can be seen above, soccer is an all-around amazing sport that is offered by my school for everyone that is interested in playing as long as they try. First of all, soccer can give opportunities and health benefits for anyone that is willing to play. One of many health benefits that soccer offers is that of staying fit to run all the time and it helps me to stay fit.
Therefore, I joined a soccer team following the example of my brother who also played. Even after all those years, I continue to play soccer. I participate on both my school team and local club team. Playing on both teams has helped to shape my personality, values, and help me learn responsibility.
