Steve Wozniak is an interesting man who has created devices at Apple and has become a pilot. Wozniak also has taken his past knowledge and used it to make new devices, which represents the habit of mind applying past knowledge to new situations. Wozniak has gone through troubles in his life, is having great success with Apple, and has left Apple on an occasion. Wozniak created many Apple devices, including his first, the Apple I. The Apple I is a tech wonder, in that when Wozniak first turned it on, Wozniak saw a cursor that could be moved around, and when Wozniak pressed some keys, the computer reacted to them. The computer was originally named the iWoz, named by Wozniak (Nash, Jaclyn). 200 of these computers were made (66 are working to

Wozniak illuminates the world and Wozniak went away from Apple because of frustration with the company’s management. Wozniak eventually reconsidered after almost dying in a plane crash (Wozniak was the pilot) and the company’s management problems, Wozniak reconsidered (Steve Wozniak). Still working for Apple today (http://www.woz.org), and owns $100 million in net worth (Steve Wozniak Net Worth). Wozniak took his old Apple I knowledge and applied it to make his Apple II, which represents the habit of mind applying past knowledge to new situations. Wozniak illuminated his creative spark with making these computers, and even made a computer when Wozniak was 11 which Wozniak called a “ticktacktoe” computer. Wozniak still came back to Apple and helped develop the Lisa, later called the Macintosh, which Wozniak was inspired by the Apple II trying to make a more affordable version of it (Steve Wozniak). Wozniak has said- “Steve Jobs doesn’t use a Mac, and won’t, because it’s to crappy in his opinion.”
Steve Jobs and his friend Wozniak started to create their very first computer, and it came out a lot better than what they thought it was going to be. With very little education, the first computer that came out was extraordinary. “It was the first single-board computer with built-in circuitry allowing for direct video interface, along with a central ROM, which allowed it to load programs from an external source” (“Steve P. Jobs”). Without the education that most people get, for someone who dropped out of college, Jobs created such a powerful computer without the knowledge that most people have. Jobs computer that he created along with his friend was so astonishing a second computer came out. “A year later, the Apple II was launched with a simple, compact design like the Apple I, plus a color monitor” (“Steve Paul Jobs”). The first computer that Jobs created was excellent enough to create a second one, which was also a superior computer. Even though Jobs dropped out of college, he was still intelligent enough to create one of the biggest companies in the world. Apple incorporations was going strong until one day the company decided to let Steve Jobs go,...
...nd something that the consumer would buy. Wozniak changed the computer industry because once he made his computer and Steve WozniakÕs prankster nature changed the world for ever. Since he tended not to listen to what people say, he didnÕt get discouraged when people told him he was wrong or that he would fail. He just kept on working.
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, cofounders of Apple, are widely recognized as the pioneers for the microcomputer revolution. While other companies like IBM we're working on creating large scale computers, Jobs, with the help of his business partner Steve Wozniak, created the first personal computer the Apple two. After that, realizing the future of computers by seeing Xerox’s work with graphic designer interfaces, Jobs pushed Apple into creating an enormous stride in technology, the Macintosh computer. After catching the world by storm in 1984, Jobs, at age 25, had a net worth of 100 million
As noted above, Steve Jobs was the co-founder of Apple. Shockingly, he was fired from his own company. His idea of introducing the second-generation Mac, the Macintosh Office didn’t get much appreciation. That product was launched in 1985, and
Apple. The mere word is a statement by itself. Back in the good old days we would associate it with a fruit but as time passed by, we would be blown away with the amazing products they offer. Revolutionizing the age we are at right now, day by day.
"By the end of high school I had taught myself how to design computers and I practiced over and over," Wozniak said. "We talk about putting 10,000 hours into something to get very skilled and confident at it... I knew I would always have a job; I wouldn't even need college.” (Deffenbaugh). By being in your own business you create a job for yourself and others. If you create a business you don’t have to be worried about looking for jobs, you create jobs. Wozniak has become “Owner and CEO of his own business along with partners he plays a major role in Apple” (Elkind). Yes, he had help along the way and many difficulties but he reached his goals. He is an inspiration to me and many others who plan on going into business. I have learned things from Wozniak that I wouldn’t have known without researching him. He has set an example for people looking into building a business to look back to. This is why I feel he has changed the world for many
In 1976, Apple was just an idea being made in a garage by Steve Wozniak and the well-known owner of Apple, Steven Jobs. The two were college drop-outs and were looked at as outcasts. The first invention that Apple introduced was the Apple I. On April 1, 1976 Apple computer was made a reality (Glen). The company did not take off until 1977, when Apple introduced the Apple II. The Apple II was the first personal computer to have plastic casing and color graphics (Glen). Then in early 1978, the Apple Disk II was invented. It was Apple’s most inexpensive product of the time and had easy to use floppy disk (Glen). By 1980, the Apple III had been invented and the sales were increasing and so was the company. Apple had several of thousand employees and managers and had developed many investors. Fast forward twenty-one years to 2001, when Apple made the iPod. From there Apple grew like wildfire, with the invention of the iPhone in 2007 and many version...
In 1976 college dropouts Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, assisted by Ron Wayne embarked on a path to start a tech company that would create new innovative products by connecting people all over the world. This company came to be known as Apple Computers which has become a global leader in Technology and cultural innovation. The rise of Apple computers did not come easy and along with the major success obtained their failures have not gone without notice. Yet, through the joy of success and the agony of defeat, Apple has continued to reinvent its brand over four decades.
Exploring the deep, dark realms of outer space, developing new energy efficient cars, and coding computers to make life easier are all areas of science that Elon Musk has effected. In his youth, his thirst for knowledge could not be quenched. He read every book and never ran out of questions to ask about the way machines worked. College life helped Elon Musk learn the skills he would need for the outside world. As a professional entrepreneur and the CEO of three companies, Elon Musk has effected almost every area of science. Throughout his life and career, Elon Musk continues to serve as a role model for people in all fields of scientific work.
It was Steve Jobs who made Apple leave the garage and make leaps and bounds in the world of technology. Steve Wozniak made the first prototype, but it was Jobs who “saw the potential” in his computer and persuaded Wozniak to sell it (Peterson 106). Even though that first computer saw very little success, Jobs knew that Apple had potential and so released the Apple II. From the beginning Jobs knew what the consumers wanted, and where computers were going to take the world; he had a vision of the opportunities in technology and saw that Apple needed to move in a different direction. In 1984, one year before he left, Jobs finished the Macintosh computer system. He was pushed from his original computer design project, “the Lisa”, and then raced to release the Mac first, but the Lisa was released to the public first. Although the Lisa came out first, the Mac “[became] synonymous with Apple, mark[ing] a…revolution in…personal computing,” (Peterson 106).
Steve Wozniak was a founding computer engineer and programmer of Apple Incorporated and was the main designer and inventor of the Apple I and Apple II computers. Steve Wozniak dropped out of University of California, Berkeley to work on founding Apple and didn’t return to finish his Bachelor’s degree until he was 35 (20 Most Influential Living Computer Scientists 1).
In September 2017, Elon Musk announced that his company, SpaceX, would aim to land humans on Mars by the year 2024. The space shuttle program had been ended by NASA, and with no one left to pursue the ambitions of sending humans into space, SpaceX decided to step up to the plate. Musk tends to appear in news headlines quite often. For example, he also founded and is currently CEO of Tesla, a company that manufactures automobiles. Tesla has made huge leaps in the technology of vehicles, especially in safety, speed, and self-driving cars, giving Musk quite a lot of recognition.
Steve jobs changed the world by creating Apple, inc, that made products that were revolutnary for there time period. He won several awards for his inventions, he died of pancreatic cancer. Steve jobs was the co-founder of apple with Stephen Wozniak. Steve jobs got fired from apple in 1984. He then started a new business called NeXT computer that made special computers for education and businesses. NeXT computers failed so he bought Pixar in 1986. Steve jobs created the ipad that came out in 2010 it is a cross between a iMac and a Iphone.
...t cell phones. Then, in 2010 Jobs outdid himself by introducing the iPad. It was a perfect gadget for all gamers, geeks, or people who just wanted this amazing technology at their fingertips. The iPad had a significantly larger screen than the iPhone and was capable of holding more data.
The Apple II was helpful in Apple's meteoric rise to success in the early 1980s. After it had been around for a few years, Steve Jobs believed that his company needed to create a new future. He thought that it was unnecessary to produce Apple II. When he took charge of the maverick Macintosh project, he made Apple against itself. And when Steve Jobs poached Hertzfeld from the Apple II team, he physically stole the power cord of Hertzfeld's computer while the engineer was doing Apple II work and marched him to the Mac
