Steve Wozniak has affected the world with his invention of Apple. The first Apple product was sold in 1976 and is now ranking in today as number four with the IPhone 7 on the list of “10 best smart phones in the US”. In discussions of Wozniak, a turning point was in 1976 when Wozniak and his partner Steve Jobs started Apple computers. I believe this point in time was important to me because I will be going and studying business, from then on Wozniak made Apple into a billion-dollar brand. The following points illustrate the importance of this turning point in time. Wozniak started not only his own products but his own business, he knew that people would always need phones and computers so upon inventing the apple I phones and laptops he made them smaller to accommodate for easier access, on top of all that he turned his own business into a billion-dollar company while. Reasons like this is what inspires me to start my own business.

"By the end of high school I had taught myself how to design computers and I practiced over and over," Wozniak said. "We talk about putting 10,000 hours into something to get very skilled and confident at it... I knew I would always have a job; I wouldn't even need college.” (Deffenbaugh). By being in your own business you create a job for yourself and others. If you create a business you don’t have to be worried about looking for jobs, you create jobs. Wozniak has become “Owner and CEO of his own business along with partners he plays a major role in Apple” (Elkind). Yes, he had help along the way and many difficulties but he reached his goals. He is an inspiration to me and many others who plan on going into business. I have learned things from Wozniak that I wouldn’t have known without researching him. He has set an example for people looking into building a business to look back to. This is why I feel he has changed the world for many
Sir Steve Jobs, the almighty co-founder of Apple started apple dreaming big. The Harvard College dropout carried through with that dream. According to Leander Kahney, author of “Inside Steve’s Brain,” “apple went public 1980 with the biggest public offering since 1958” (2008), this offer proved successful as apple soon became a super power. Apple suffered a fall out though, but Steve Jobs came back and rescued them, reviving them to their previous stature.
Steve Jobs and his friend Wozniak started to create their very first computer, and it came out a lot better than what they thought it was going to be. With very little education, the first computer that came out was extraordinary. “It was the first single-board computer with built-in circuitry allowing for direct video interface, along with a central ROM, which allowed it to load programs from an external source” (“Steve P. Jobs”). Without the education that most people get, for someone who dropped out of college, Jobs created such a powerful computer without the knowledge that most people have. Jobs computer that he created along with his friend was so astonishing a second computer came out. “A year later, the Apple II was launched with a simple, compact design like the Apple I, plus a color monitor” (“Steve Paul Jobs”). The first computer that Jobs created was excellent enough to create a second one, which was also a superior computer. Even though Jobs dropped out of college, he was still intelligent enough to create one of the biggest companies in the world. Apple incorporations was going strong until one day the company decided to let Steve Jobs go,...
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, cofounders of Apple, are widely recognized as the pioneers for the microcomputer revolution. While other companies like IBM we're working on creating large scale computers, Jobs, with the help of his business partner Steve Wozniak, created the first personal computer the Apple two. After that, realizing the future of computers by seeing Xerox’s work with graphic designer interfaces, Jobs pushed Apple into creating an enormous stride in technology, the Macintosh computer. After catching the world by storm in 1984, Jobs, at age 25, had a net worth of 100 million
Bill Gates has had a mammoth effect not only in America, but also the world. Bill Gates is the man people credited for creating the success of Microsoft, and the Xbox gaming console. However, Forbes magazine says, “The world will remember Bill Gates”(Forbes). Yes, the world will remember Bill Gates not because he was the richest man in the world for 14 years straight (Forbes), but because of all his efforts overseas and how he encourages other wealthy people to share their money with the less fortunate. If we look just in our own houses we see the effects of Bill Gates, almost every computer has Microsoft word and PowerPoint. In this paper, we will talk about all the impact Bill Gates has had not only in America but also the world.
In 1976 college dropouts Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, assisted by Ron Wayne embarked on a path to start a tech company that would create new innovative products by connecting people all over the world. This company came to be known as Apple Computers which has become a global leader in Technology and cultural innovation. The rise of Apple computers did not come easy and along with the major success obtained their failures have not gone without notice. Yet, through the joy of success and the agony of defeat, Apple has continued to reinvent its brand over four decades.

It was Steve Jobs who made Apple leave the garage and make leaps and bounds in the world of technology. Steve Wozniak made the first prototype, but it was Jobs who “saw the potential” in his computer and persuaded Wozniak to sell it (Peterson 106). Even though that first computer saw very little success, Jobs knew that Apple had potential and so released the Apple II. From the beginning Jobs knew what the consumers wanted, and where computers were going to take the world; he had a vision of the opportunities in technology and saw that Apple needed to move in a different direction. In 1984, one year before he left, Jobs finished the Macintosh computer system. He was pushed from his original computer design project, “the Lisa”, and then raced to release the Mac first, but the Lisa was released to the public first. Although the Lisa came out first, the Mac “[became] synonymous with Apple, mark[ing] a…revolution in…personal computing,” (Peterson 106).
Apple Inc. was established by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak on April 1, 1976 as a computer designer, developer and seller company. However, the company shifted its focus from only personal computer to include other consumer electronics such as portable media player and mobile phone in 2007. Apple Inc becomes one of the most popular makers in its field since it seems that its popularity has increased according to a report on www.statista.com that Apple Inc’s products sales was generally increasing throughout the first quarter of 2006 to the first quarter of 2014. On the one hand, it has increased its revenue from about 14 billion US dollars to more than 170 billion US dollars in 2013. All in all, the company is highly successful corresponding to its products’ development and their sales growth in world’s market.
Steve jobs changed the world by creating Apple, inc, that made products that were revolutnary for there time period. He won several awards for his inventions, he died of pancreatic cancer. Steve jobs was the co-founder of apple with Stephen Wozniak. Steve jobs got fired from apple in 1984. He then started a new business called NeXT computer that made special computers for education and businesses. NeXT computers failed so he bought Pixar in 1986. Steve jobs created the ipad that came out in 2010 it is a cross between a iMac and a Iphone.
With his unique love for technology, Steve Jobs changed the world with his revolutionary innovations, developments, and extremely successful companies. He made communication faster, people’s lives easier, and invented many famous products. Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California (Ed. Sheila Dow and Jaime E. Noce). Throughout his high school career, Jobs loved electronics. He was constantly wiring the house with speakers or building frequency counters with his Hewlett-Packard Explorers Club, a group of students who met weekly to learn about what HP was working on. One day the club members took a trip to see firsthand at what HP was developing at the time. That was the day Jobs saw his very first desktop computer (Walter Isaacson 16-17).
Although Steve and Bill are competitors, there are similarities between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Both of them are the most successful CEO’s in the world. Though they were college dropouts, but they still achieved a lot of success in their own way. Steve was a very innovative man. As the English proverb goes by “ Have no fear of perfection - you will never reach it.” by Salvador Dali. No matter how many times he failed, he could develop things from his own idea and turn them into a successful product. In 1979 Apple’s first product was introduced, people like it very much because of its simplicity and innovative ideas. Later on in year 1980, the company showed a tremendous performance, where its share rose by 32% (Messa, 1998). Similarly, Bill Gates was also like that, but just that Steve was in a company which makes hardware prod...
...change the world. His invention literally changed the way of life. Secondly, Steve Jobs was consistent and responsible. Steve jobs was always passionate about creating the most innovative and the best product for people. These decisions often put his company and his career in danger but he did not want to change his mind. He was responsible about his decision and always delivers his promises. Lastly and the most importantly, Steve Jobs never give up from challenges. He knew that he is able to accomplish as long as he does not give up. He encountered many different problems and obstacles. He did not give up. Not only he did not give up but he remained himself. He truly believed that his decision and passion is not wrong. Even the death was not enough to stop Steve Jobs passion. Without his courage and stubbornness, we would not be able to enjoy iPhone or iPad today.
