“I want to put a ding in the universe”, is one of Steve Job’s famous quotes. Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). He was adopted by Paul Jobs and and Clara Hagopian Jobs(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). His original parents were Abdulfattah Jandali and Joanne SImpson(Steve Jobs and Apple, 9). He would later grow up to be a genius and invested in big companies, such as: Pixar(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). Steve met Apple’s Co-Founder, Steve Wozniak after graduating from high school

After leaving Apple, Steve Jobs launched Next, a computer company, but then sold it to Apple after coming back(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). This big company all started on April 1, 1976(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). Apple was originally named Apple Computer since they sold and made computers(Steve Jobs and Apple, 39). Over 4.5 million shares of Apple were sold within minutes(Steve Jobs and Apple, 39). Since both Jobs and Wozniak are the founders of Apple, they both created multiple devices for Apple, such as Macbooks and the first Apple I and Apple II.
Steve Jobs grew up with spare parts to machines and started building things with them. For example: Steve created a computer called Apple Lisa in honor of his daughter(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). The first iMac was introduced in 1998(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). Jobs introduced the first ever iPod in 2001(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). Steve Jobs created a download music service called the iTunes Store, available on Apple products, in 2003(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”). The Apple II Plus sold for $1,195(“Steve Jobs Fast Facts”).
