Steve Jobs was an innovative mastermind with visions that helped change the world. He co-founded Apple inc. which is a well-known billion dollar company, and also invented products so popular, almost anyone you ask owns a product of his. In order to understand why Steve Jobs is an american cultural icon, one needs to have a description of his background and a critical analysis of his moral behavior.
Born on the 24th of February, 1955, Jobs was born. Jobs biological parents were graduates of Wisconsin who could not afford a child at the time, so jobs was put up for adoption. Jobs got adopted by a new father which was a machinist who worked at a laser manufacturer called spectra physics and a new mother who worked as an accountant. Jobs was a frequent victim of bullying as a child, which prompted his parents to move homes from Mountain view, California to Palo Alto, California, which is now known as the Silicon valley. Jobs was even an intelligent young man, at the age of 8, jobs had tested well in formal schooling, teachers and faculty would often ask for permission if he could be moved up to high school level courses, but the parents refused to do so. Steve’s father would often work with his son on mechanical and electrical projects to help bring out steve’s interest in those specific areas. When Steve was in high school he had been assigned a project which would help him continue on his path of fame and fortune. He needed to design and build a mechanical machine. Prior to this project, Jobs would attend lectures and public meetings at the Hewlett-Packard headquarters, a electronics company also known as HP, which was not far from his home in Palo Alto. It seems like everyone has an Apple product such as an iPhone or iPad today. It is not unusual to see someone take out an Apple product. We have these products thanks to Steve Jobs, one of the founders of the Apple company. Steve Jobs is still recognized worldwide for the company he helped create and for the vision he had for Apple. Steve Jobs revolutionized the cell phone industry with the creation of the first smartphone and he became one of the youngest millionaires in America. Not only that but even after his death, his ideas and his company still continues to thrive. Steve Jobs left a lasting influence on America.
Steve Wozniak was the kind of person who liked to tell jokes and pull pranks at the schools he attended. During high school, he decided he wanted to become an engineer. He graduated with honors from Homestead High School, California in 1968. He tried to convince his family to send him to Colorado University for the engineering program, but his family encouraged him to go to a nearby community college in California instead. After going to the community college to register for classes, he found out that the calculus, physics, and chemistry classes he wanted to attend were all full. So Steve went back to his parents to tell them the news, and they agreed to send him to Colorado University for his first year of college. He was not a dedicated student, since he liked to pull pranks such as jamming residents' cable in the dorms. Regardless, he will land several engineering jobs which would eventually lead to the invention of the Apple Computer.

Apple is a company that has been round for many years. There are over 55 million people who use an apple product or are considered to have at least one apple product in their home. The apple products range from larger devices such as there amazingly known Mac books which are there computer based system to there much small hand held based device called the iPhone. That device allows a person to make calls all while have the convent amenities that a laptop would have. They also have the very popular iPod as well as Apple TV. They have expanded into an empire that everyone is trying to become as well as beat. As many people know there is history and hard work that has to take place in order for a business to be successful. Many people will refer to the success of apple as the underdog company that made despite the odds. Founder Steve Jobs was a regular person with a dream. He started of building an Apple computer in his parent’s living room and later moved to the garage true to lack of space. Later on in his building career a neighbor of Steve Jobs introduced him to Stephen Gary Wonzniak. Wonzniak was an engineer and Jobs was a market maven and together they have the skills to build and properly promote. The computer they were trying to promote was fairly expensive computer. Jobs was so dedicated to this idea of transforming this computer from what it was to something that is able to be sold to the public he reached out to Bill Hewlett and asked him to donate some parts for a class projects .
It was never about the money with steve. He wanted to create something that could change the way we view our society. He formed a team of young inspiring visionaries and started from his garage. The would continue to make computers in their garage. After a big investment they were able to expand. And more product was selling. Which allowed them to expand even more to where they had a full time employees and were able to use any resources to their capabilities. In the book “Steve Jobs” By Walter Isaacson it explains what Steve wanted to fulfill for our society. The book says “At a time when America is seeking ways to sustain its innovative edge, and when societies around the world are trying to build digital-age economies, Jobs stands as the ultimate icon of inventiveness and applied imagination. He knew that the best way to create value in the twenty-first century was to connect creativity with technology. Steve jobs changed the world by creating Apple, inc, that made products that were revolutnary for there time period. He won several awards for his inventions, he died of pancreatic cancer. Steve jobs was the co-founder of apple with Stephen Wozniak. Steve jobs got fired from apple in 1984. He then started a new business called NeXT computer that made special computers for education and businesses. NeXT computers failed so he bought Pixar in 1986. Steve jobs created the ipad that came out in 2010 it is a cross between a iMac and a Iphone.
Overall, Steve Jobs was a great inventor. He changed the world with his many technological advances and the opening of his now world-famous company, Apple. He showed great determination, skill, and knowledge throughout all of his undertakings. Steve Jobs will never be forgotten and his inventions still live on today.
In conclusion, Steve Jobs is the most important entrepreneur of the 20th and 21st centuries. He created many technological advances, paved the way for new technology in the future, and co-founded Pixar Animation Studios. Sadly, he died on October 5, 2011 due to pancreatic cancer. His inventions revolutionized the way people live and Apple will keep coming up with better, more efficient products. It has to be remembered though, that Steve Jobs was the original mastermind behind the technology and is the reason why technology is the way it is
Steve Jobs imagined life as a big puzzle that had to be put together without looking at a picture. Being a kid who was adopted right after being born is not something many kids have to deal with, but like Jobs, many that are put in that situation become successful people. Not knowing what the future holds is okay because no one picks their first choice even after doing it many times. By introducing computers, smartphones and music-downloading programs, it allowed many people to connect in a whole new way.
