It seems like everyone has an Apple product such as an iPhone or iPad today. It is not unusual to see someone take out an Apple product. We have these products thanks to Steve Jobs, one of the founders of the Apple company. Steve Jobs is still recognized worldwide for the company he helped create and for the vision he had for Apple. Steve Jobs revolutionized the cell phone industry with the creation of the first smartphone and he became one of the youngest millionaires in America. Not only that but even after his death, his ideas and his company still continues to thrive. Steve Jobs left a lasting influence on America.
Steve Jobs made many accomplishments during his lifetime. Jobs was one of the youngest millionaires in America. After one day of selling, Apple goes public and Jobs is worth $239 million and he is only 25 years old. In 1995 Jobs releases “Toy Story”, which is …show more content…

One challenge was being fired from the company he started. Steve Jobs felt as if he needed an experienced marketing partner so he convinced John Sculley to join Apple. Two years later, Sculley had organized a board campaign to fire Jobs. This ignited a fire in Jobs that burned for the remainder of his career. Jobs later created another company called NeXT, which specialized in high-end workstations for the business community. NeXT turned out to be a commercial failure until Apple took it in a decade later and Jobs was back in the company. Over the next few years, Jobs went from a small position at Apple to the company’s interim CEO. Jobs eventually took the position full time. Steve Jobs was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2004, however, he underwent a successful surgery to have it removed. In 2011, he announced he would be stepping down from CEO of Apple due to health issues. Jobs faced challenges throughout his career, however, he worked through the challenges and achieved many things that leave a lasting impression
